Highfield Restaurant in Chorley

went here for friend birthday, was every impress with the starter.Wings and the dipping sauce were out of this world along with the nachos are just to die for.order the grill stuff for the main but was avarage at best.however over all experiance were good!

Had about a 50 min wait for food which, when arrived, wasn't the tastiest but was edible. Whilst we were there, there was a party of about 18 celebrating a girls 2nd birthday. Nothing wrong with that but they were letting her walk, in shoes, all over the table! Staff didn't seem concerned about this. I just hope that table was thoroughly cleaned after. Plus this party of people seemed to think it acceptable to throw wrapped up corn in the cobs and other food items at each other........ Classy eh? It's a pity this type of people let the atmosphere down.

The staff here are lovely! They made a big fuss of my kids who were getting fidgety whilst we were deciding what to order and brought superhero masks over for them to colour in. The food was delicious and so were the deserts. Highly recommend

We celebrated Mother’s Day here as a family. The food was fantastic and served quickly despite how busy it was. The staff were helpful, polite and gave service with a smile. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Came here for a childrens party in the play area. We ordered food while the kids played. The food was fantastic and the kids had a great time at the party. The staff were brilliant, and even made balloon models for them.

I brought my mum here for breakfast this morning. It was fantastic! The portions were huge, great value for money. Really good quality sausages and bacon, and the eggs are free range. The staff were lovely and we only waited 10 minutes from ordering to our breakfast arriving at the table. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying the new menu next week.

Can I just say the manager here is brilliant. She is absolutely lovely, always has a smile. She is an absolute example of what good customer service is. The food is excellent value for money and the place is friendly. Spot on

We travelled to the Highfield this evening for the simple reason on the indoor play area, when we arrived i was told that the play area was only for children with special needs this evening, there was no notice of this on the website. The play area was completely empty, I asked if we could come in for my daughters birthday and if anybody else wanted to come in we would leave and still wasn't allowed. We decided to stay for food regardless, wish we didn't. The best thing about the Highfield was the staff behind the bar, they was polite and friendly. We will definitely not be returning

Cheap and cheerful, got a mixed grill and upgraded the rump to a larger one but the extra was just a lump of fat (partner did not upgrade and was about the same size when fat was cut off). Staff resolved adequately with free drink and were generally pleasant. They did not have peppercorn sauce, felt like asking them if they wanted me to make some up. All on all, got what I paid for which was fairly reasonable

I recommend this place as super enjoyable place if you have kids. Just let your kids have fun on the soft play area while you can have quality time with your husband. Dinks and food were reasonably priced. I was amazed to see that they have made efforts to cook everything from scratch, the nachos were not from packet, nuggets were not frozen. This was the first place in England where I ever ate freshly hand made nachos and they were delicious. The quantity of food was so big. I would go there 100% when ever next I visit that area again.
