Hats off to Patrick and the team! The mark of a great, family-owned restaurant is the way they handle customers when things go wrong. After a disappointing experience I had decided not to return to La Rocca.Out of the blue the owner/chef Patrick telephoned me to apologise and explained what had gone wrong that night and why.He was open, honest and genuinely disappointed about our experience. He wanted to make things right with us.Independent businesses rely on a loyal customer base for their reputation, and livelihood, and especially continued support when times are tough. We were proud to support La Rocca during the lockdowns and will continue to do so in these challenging economic times.Good Independent restaurants provide excellent customer service in a way chains can’t compare.Supporting local businesses supports your local economy as your money is spent locally with suppliers, and wages for local people. So many independents and small businesses went to the wall during the pandemic. If we want choices locally, we need to support locally… if we don’t we will end up with choices limited to the big corporates like Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Costa, Pizza Express,

Really really nice hospitality and food was very delicious, varied menu and will go again but will ask for different seats as their takeaway service means people stood around wile your eating which is a why I have given it 4 stars: Not far from town either and as we have just moved here a nice little place to eat

Ordered food, it took 70 minutes to arrive which I am not that concerned about. However the food was freezing and the drink I ordered didn't arrive. Pizza not nice, sloppy and not cooked. Tasted doughy. Definitely will not be ordering again.

Orded a meal on 15 Feb @18:18 , didn't get a confirmation email for 2 hours, online tried ringing for over 1 hour , just got answer machine, left 2 messages ,no reply , couldn't even cancel . Why take orders online if can't cope ????.

Burnt pizza. Contacted via email and still not had a response after 2 weeks. Won't be going back...

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and great customer service (staff had a good sense of humour). Music was a little loud for our taste. Look forward to eating there again. Thanks

We had a take away tonight and it is no where near as good as it used to be, the pizza bases seemed like bought in ones rather than fresh dough. Pizza was ok but the garlic bread was absolutely diabolical. Hard, thin and crispy, I imagine similar to eating a fried piece of cardboard. Will be a long time before we go again.

Received my food after waiting 2 hours and really disappointed. Pizza had no chillis on it, was wafer thin, bland and cold. The vodka pasta was really watery and just tasted like bolognese and again cold! £17 for some bog standard takeaway food would definitely not recommend.

Went here as part of a big family group for a great Italian meal. Between us All we must have tried the whole menu, all the food was great with vegetarian options for some. The staff were great and very friendly, I would recommend this place to anyone, they also seem to provide a takeaway service as well. 👍
