Brilliant food, very fast service, happy, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Clean tables, hot and excellent food, nice cold beer. Absolutely brilliant 👍👍👍

This is a great place. Located in beautiful Wheelton. Total pub expierence, great menu, wait staff spry and effective. The menu was quote sophisticated and varied. Have a family luncheon with ten guests you won't be disappointed

Perfect long lunch with a friend. Service impeccable and the ever evolving menu means there is something for everyone, smaller or lighter options to hearty meals. We didn't have desserts so can't comment on them but our food was freshly prepared and good quality. A regular favourite place for lunch.

Really cosy pub, we stopped here and warmed ourselves up on an awful weather day. Staff were very friendly and even though late for our booking, made us feel welcome on a busy weekend.The meals were excellent and clearly the chef has a vast repertoire with wide range of choices.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Great food. This is very much in the style of the US eateries I've been to. Seems parts of the UK hospitality industry have now fully embraced the US of A. No bad thing. The Americans were always better at this than the UK.

We went for a birthday dinner, this is our 4th visit! And we will be back againFood was gorgeous, the staff were attentive and present, you really didn't have to wait long to order another drink! Happy days! We had our 3 year old with us and again the staff were excellent with him, there was a young man serving us who was BRILLIANT, funny kind and couldn't do enoughThey also took and hid the cake for us and brought it out at the last minute, excellent experience great food!!

Great cozy pub with open fires and a decent selection of beers on tap. The pub is right next to the canal so is ideally placed for a couple of pints after a long walk. Food is really good and staff are attentive and friendly. Also the pub is very dog friendly! Just look at the photos, I think it says it all!

Great food at decent price, lovely staff and atmosphere

Lovely, beautiful and cosy pub restaurant. It looked and felt clean when we walked in. My chicken, leek and mushroom pie was wonderful and portion size just right. I never used the toilets but my husband did and he gave them top marks for cleanliness and was intrigued by the toiletries. Must try it.

What can I say about the Malthouse Farm, this is the second time myself and my husband have stayed at the hotel and used the pub for meals and drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful , there is a lot of choice for food, the food is cooked to perfection and plentiful. The drinks selection is also very varied. The outside drinking area is clean and very pretty. Thank you again for a lovely weekend spent with yourselves we will be back.
