The jalfrezi was the best ive ever had but received three garlic nans instead of two galic chapatis and a keema nan!

A bit unwelcoming reception but great service, the food is lovely if you prefer spicy meals...

I haven’t been to Masala since the ownership changed a few years ago as I feared the quality may end up being compromised, I wasn’t wrong.Tonight, just for curiosity, I returned ordered 4 curries, 3 egg pilau rice, popadoms and two garlic bread. The Lamb Bhuna was bland in comparison to anywhere bit just here although the meat was tender, the chicken tikka dupiaza was way too spicy for a Dupiaza, the Chicken Tikka Korai, had never seen a Korai in its life, it was just chicken and sauce. The Garlic naan was just a naan with garlic butter, so was fairly accurate, the Keema Naan had zero Keema in it, at best it had been rubbed on another Keema Naan. The Popadoms were either burnt or greasy, the red onion seemed stale. The Egg Pilau Rice must have been 20% chopped up onions?? Not sure what that is all about…The best part of the meal was the onion bhaji.Sadly I will never return, this has to be the worst tasting Indian food I have ever experienced, maybe it was because they were busy? I don’t know. But I certainly won’t be back.Massive shame really as this was hands down the best Indian Food I had ever had…The sad bit is, the service is still excellent, friendly courteous and approachable. But the food, easily forgettable.

I will start by saying that the curries from Massala are absolutely top tier and the staff have always been great! As they are so good I'd thought I'd give thier pizza a try and they are pretty par for the course with most other takeaways, they are drenched in grease and cheese with a wet base. This may be how people like thier pizza and that's alright but not for me, I find the grease just eliminates every other taste. I ordered chicken on the pizza that on the menu was labeled differently to tandoori chicken but tandoori chicken was added which was disappointing. It was binned but I guess the garlic bread was edible as I was hungry from it arriving late but still covered in too much grease. I took a chance here hoping maybe they had a clay oven or traditional pizzas like thier curries. I've gotta add that the pizza came partially crumpled and we did not receive our Rubicon drink. I'd say just stick to the curries here. Grease is the word y'all! Take care.

I'm from Scotland, the food is very delicious and mouth watering. Really, I enjoyed it. The best thing I note that food is hot and well prepared .
