Great night out on Saturday, manager was friendly, service was quick

Came here yesterday with my 3 Yr old little boy I have to say the staff were amazing with him he was tired grumpy and hungry by the end of his dinner he was all laughing and smiles his food was great he ate it all and that's unusual for him I will be back again we had a lovely time thank you so much Anna and the gang x

This is place absolutely fantastic the staff Adam and Anna can't do enough for you the place is always clean and tidy and the food never arrives cold this place deserves more than 5 stars 😀

Waited 45 minutes for our meal, there was only one person on the bar and at no point did she say we would have to wait that long and it was not like the pub was packed. BLT club came with salad leaves and half warm chicken so went to the complain and was told they don't do lettuce to which I pointed out the word lettuce on the title and in the ingredients on the menu. Asked if I wanted an alternative but was not waiting another 45 minutes (which I told the bar maid) so I ended up with the bar maid putting my chips in a bowl with no refund or anything, Left hungry and very upset will not recommend to anyone. The bar maid herself really needs a lesson in customer service but at the same time was left to do the bar and the food (plus clearing up) on her own. I would like to remind the pub that BLT stands for Bacon LETTUCE and tomato,

Visited with my husband and kids for lunch. The manager Anna was fantastic, really made a fuss over my kids. Food was lovely and it was really welcoming and friendly. Will be back soon

Lovely proper pub! Had a breakfast with my friend she had the same we both agreed it was the best breakfast we've had, the staff were lovely the clients friendly and some real characters 10 out of 10

Came in for a quick bite to eat around 2pm after browsing the markets and had a lovely club sandwich. The two girls behind the bar were absolutely lovely and very friendly. Good grub with a friendly atmosphere, will definitely be back soon.

First time of eating here and pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at a reasonable price. Very warm welcome and staff kept us appraised of when our food would arrive. A very nice experience and will return.

Pub grub. I had the vegetarian mash topped pie. Tasty. Mum had scampi and chips. OK. The pub was in dire need of renovation and an electrician with imagination. I've never seen so many wires on every wall and all around the ceilings. Felt the place let the very nice staff down

We visited about 4 or 5 weeks ago weeks ago. I had a burger, to be fair it was not great. Almost cold burger and very few chips! The wife had steak which she said was quite tough. We have been in the past and meals were nice however we've not returned since.It's a shame as it's been ok in the past. Staff were friendly and nice enough. Just the food was a let down.
