Friday night was very busy. Good place though with a good atmosphere. Food was OK, I had fish and chips, the mushy peas came as one solid lump so needless to say I didn't eat them. Other than that it was nice.

Great food, great drinks and fantastic service from the staff. Special thanks to Grace for looking after us and making us feel so welcome and looked after. You’ve got a top employee there don’t let her go!!

Great venue for meetings and excellent beer. Food is well above average and reasonably priced.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The food is delicious, the staff are all very helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is brilliant and the prices are very fair. Can't recommend The Sea View Inn enough.

Food very good dissapointing staff. We were never asked if everything was OK with our food even when the plates were cleared we weren't asked just if we wanted to see the dessert menu. The table next to us who were clearly known by the staff were asked twice if there meals were OK,that particular table had a dog with them we were unaware it was a dog friendly pub and were not asked if we minded being next to the dog,Also the waiters made a fuss of the dog and stroked it often without washing hands and then going on to serve food.when we paid we still were not asked if our food was OK .the girl who took payment never said please thank you just "you can tap card on the machine " it took a sarcastic remark from my husband to prompt her to say thankyou. Manners cost nothing

Had a Sunday lunch, nice atmosphere in a traditional pub. Very good service from the staff. Excellent choice and quality of the home made food. Will return again.

Went to bonfire and fireworks display at the Sea View Inn. It was the best organised one I have been to. All carried out in compliance with health and safety. There was a good choice of food and drinks on offer. The service at the food tent was excellent. Orders taken quickly and food served quickly. The drinks tent was equally efficient. Service was quick and friendly. There was a good sized crowd of all ages but no risks to anyone as everything was so well organised. I will be going to next year's display. We plan to return asap to have a meal and drinks inside the pub. First class management and staff. Well done all.

Quite honestly the best meal I have had out in a long time. I had the cheese pie. Was homemade and just perfect. Beautiful buttery pastry. Full to the brim with cheese, proper chips. I also had an apple crumble. Massive portion. Been made with love. Amazing crumble top and loads of custard. If you want good, tasty, homemade food with excellent service then you will not be disapointed. Nothing to fault. The menu was good. It catered for all.

It may not live up to its name exactly, but the staff are great and it seems very popular. I went for a wake at which the buffet was 100% not for vegans like me. As soon as I mentioned my meat problem and asked if I could have a bag of crisps instead, they insisted on getting me the ‘vegan option’. I was full of dread it would just be lettuce and mushrooms, but I couldn’t have been more wrong or more chuffed with what I got. They had also arranged a gluten free option for someone else. Definitely a place I would return to as they really go out of the way with their customer service.
