Excellent cask ales! Friendly and really helpful staff. We asked about beer, we got directions. Ace!

Nice pub. Went there after seeing the lancs live feature. Good selection of beers although went on a Saturday am for breakfast. Decent breakfast with a cup of tea thrown in. Friendly staff

Often on the look out for a good pub when I'm in Chorley but Ill be giving this one a wide berth now I know they are supporters of wildlife abusers. Arrived to find the local hunt parading around...didn't stop..and wont be going back! I usually support local business but if you support these thugs Ill be spending my money elsewhere. Sorry! NOT sorry!

Thought we'd try having a meal here as not been out for a long time thanks to covid, but outside was full of drunken angry red faced entitled looking pompous inbreds on horses.Fox hunters, never did understand why people would support such a grim illegal activity, I'm country born and bred but don't lack brains or morals, my children are well informed of the truth behind 'trail hunting' and therefore do not find the horsies and doggies cute, rather they find them terrifying,.We did not get out of the car

Booked in for breakfast after a morning walk. Fantastic "full English" was as you'd imagine. Bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, hash brown, black pudding, baked beans and toast! What a great selection! Bottomless tea or coffees. Friendly service xx Would definitely recommend 👌

Had an old school boys reunion last night and could not wish for a better venue.Absolutely superb beers, fabulous food and great atmosphere.Staff were outstanding, courteous and very tolerant of our slightly boisterous banter, (apologies to other guests, not seen each other for quite a few years!!)How refreshing to finally be back to near normal in such a wonderful, accommodating, country pub.If you like great beers and superb grub, try this superb pub 😎🍻

Cosy old fashioned village pub that has good reputation for food and cask ale which is constantly changed. They do a great Beer Festival with live music plus regular live music on Thursday. Also a Quiz Night.

Great pub with many traditional and period features and fittings. Really good selection of cask ales to be had. Friendly welcome. Recommended.
