The Village Tearoom in Chorley

Very slow service, came back 3 times to ask what our order was again. We was sitting downstairs and it seemed like they forgot about us.The sandwich were nice and the milkshake was a big hit with my daughter.

A delicious Afternoon Tea, the staff were lovely and looked after us so well. Highly recommended. We went because we were given a voucher for Christmas, a great idea for a gift and I intend to do the same for family.

This quaint tearoom is an ideal stop for rambling folk and is well stocked in fresh cakes made by the owners partner, good coffee and plenty of local produce to take away with you. They also have a lunch menu which features sandwiches, soups and Welsh rarebit! An absolute must if you are making your way through the village.

Afternoon tea for two, excellent service, food delicious and a doggy bag for later. First time we have visited, will definitely return soon.

Had a lovely lunch with family. Service was excellent and the staff very friendly which is refreshing. Nothing too much bother. Food was delicious and catered for gluten free. Highly recommend and as very popular worth booking at peak times to avoid being disappointed.

Just went in after a long walk for drinks. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks and food menu.

Excellent afternoon tea - takeaway with a large selection of different items, and dietary requirements catered for very well. All ordered and collected in an extremely easy and Covid secure manner. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our afternoon tea.Great value and choices

Came and picked an afternoon tea up (couldn't sit inside because of covid), and we walked back to the canal, always a lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches, can't wait untill we can sit inside again though. It's all cosy :)

We tried this Tearoom yesterday and were very impressed. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and attentive. The menu choice is great with breakfast items being served all day. The cakes are the best we have ever tasted. We can highly recommend the chocolate and vanilla cake and the scones with jam and cream. They do cakes and savouries to take away which are great value. We can’t wait to return and work our way through the menu. It’s in the perfect spot when walking along the canal at Wheelton.
