Traditional pub in a beautiful village centre setting. Choice of cask ales and a great menu. Food was superb, service was excellent, prices reasonable.

Very friendly staff, in a spotless pub restaurant with equally clean rest rooms. I visited with two friends for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I had the Full English which was freshly cooked and delicious. I'll be back again soon.

Owner threatens people if you don't drink your pint fast enough. Disgusting attitude from the owner, he actually squared up to us, clearly drunk out of his mind. Disgraceful, do not go here.

We had 2 visits last week (once with family and the second by our selves) the service was brilliant each time and the food excellent. Recommend the steak and ale pie!! (It’s very popular) and also the Big Pig Burger was amazing. The Malaysian curry was nice but a little plain. Can’t wait to go back!!

Saw my Grandma for the first time since December 2019 and we came here, one of her favourite places. Food was exceptional and we absolutely loved it! Staff very friendly too!
