Very nice pub, with friendly staff

·

Old time pub, frendey warm local.good beer

·

Adequate room but the light and shower in the bathroom didn't work. When we got up at 9am the pub was dead and no staff to see regarding breakfast or checking out. We had to hang around for an hour.

·

Welcome break from my canoe trip on the canal. Found the staff to be friendly and the accommodation clean and to an acceptable standard. Would use again.

·

Booked a room but unable to book in as phone wasn't answered and despite repeated phone calls and leaving my number when I eventually spoke to someone, nobody rang me back. Very disappointed. I went to pick my car up at about 8.30pm and could only see one customer in the pub on Saturday night! I had tried booking by email but the lady I spoke to when I rang, because nobody replied to my email, said we've just taken over and haven't got round to looking at the emails yet. I ended up on a settee at my cousins in Burnley!I would have thought new management would have been keen to build the business up, obviously I was wrong.

great food Please please please change that awful wall paper the rooms ! The mismatch paper and bedding doesn’t show your lovely personality. Dated and garish

·

Nice pub, clean beer. Opens early! Well earlier than most

I‘ve now stayed here for a month, really glad I chose this place and sad to leave already. Pete and Tom are very good hosts and helped me with everything I needed. Huge thank you!

Used to be a really nice pub.It is nice downstairs in the pub but upstairs B&B is dated. The alcohol prices are dear

Servicing an array of liquid consumables.Sky sports and football games can be viewed here, there is a discount of 20p off every pint when games are on, seems a fair compensation for having to watch premier league football, although sometimes the bar tender forgets to give this special discount. There is a beer garden, but most like to sit out at the front on the benches, in summer baking to a lobster red. Avid car spotters can enjoy the motoring on the A6, if you're lucky you may catch an incident, the zebra crossing with mini-roundabout combo has always been a heady mix. They may do food, I have eaten there many years ago, it was pub grub, what can be noteworthy of that?In summary, this is one of the better pubs of lower Adlington, cheaper than the Bridge, although if you don't give the Bridge a bit of business then Adlington may lose yet another pub.
