Above Restaurant at The Georgian House Hotel in Copeland

The hotel staff were very helpful. The building was nice and the room was clean and presentable with period furniture.I was slight disappointed with the quality of the mattress as it was all plastic like a hospital mattress. Didn’t sleep all that well. Shame but nice building and nice staff. Was up and out too early for breakfast so can’t comment.

Great bedroom with a 4 poster bed and period features. Little tavern and Italian restaurant attached at the rear with a log fired pizza oven. Impressive place, would recommend and stay again.

Stayed over with some friends. Our room was lovely and spacious. Nice friendly staff, great parking, nice bar. Lovely pizza early evening in the bar, oh and breakfast is lovely. . . And enormous. We will be going back.

The staff were excellent, rooms perfect the meals were excellent and the prices were very good over all well worth the money. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

What a fantastic hotel, we loved it, the breakfast was brilliant and the person serving it was helpful. the hotel is different but in a good way. Apparently haunted too, didn't see anything, rooms 10 and 12 are the rooms to stay in. Definitely stay again.

Fantastic hosts couldn't have been made more welcome, maybe looking a little tired in places but was clean amazing food also.

Old style pub that seems to have grown organically rather than by design! Nice outside area, car park and the food looked like very big portions, they even have a real pizza oven. Some unusual small brewery real ales available amongst the usual fair of lagers etc Worth a visit, quite a unique place

1. The room was too cold as the heater was not giving any heat. We were given a radiator which did not help a lot. The fact is that the building is not renovated for a very long time and there is a huge gap between the window panels. I could feel the wind in the bathroom and had to buy duct tape to seal the gap as our stay was for 5 nights and didn't want to suffer the cold for the whole stay.2. The night manager is rude, like very rude. I wanted to extend my stay by a day and she told me that there is no rooms available. I am fine with that, but she told me that I have to vacate the room by 10:30 am; later I found the check out time is 11 am.The positive stuff: The room was large and I love the style. Would have given 4 star if it was not cold & if the facilities weren't felt cheap.

For a real ale establishment that supposedly brews its own they really are a disappointment and potentially the worst ale House in Derby.. ale is nearly always off. The food however is great, and the building itself is lovely

Absolutely love it here Simon is the man who always makes us feels welcome and his wife kaz is amazing. Brilliant seating area outside ready for the summer 😊 kids are welcome and never told to be quiet etc! Firm favourite for locals and for after workers. Keep it up guys
