Brown Cow Inn in Copeland

Called in for a lunchtime meal and had a lovely experience. Typical pub grub but produced to a very high standard with a good selection on offer to suit most peoples tastes. Exceeded expectations and worth a visit if you are passing

Called today, fish and chips best I have had in years and reasonable price, lads running the place very polite and service was first class.Call me tight but I hate going out for a meal these days I nearly always feel ripped off near where I live, NOT the case here at The Brown Cow. Proper pub good food at reasonable cost, I cant wait to go again.PS the Guinness was also spot on.

Very welcoming friendly staff. Food was served quite quick and was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend anyone passing to call in as we had done well worth it.

Breakfast was amazing especially the sausages 😋 it's not just an ordinary but the real Cumberland. Highly recommended. The owner of the pub is very accommodating. We even met the father and brothers and they all wear flat caps! When I asked if it's about Peaky, it turned out that they wore it first. Definitely going back 👍

A great pup stop over. Have a lovely pub meal and stay overnight in the carpark. A quiet night. Landlord & staff very friendly and welcoming. Extensive menu, just a great pub. Recommended.

We had a meal here the other night and it was amazing , very welcoming, we have a disabled son in a wheelchair and we had a little side room with 3 tables in all to ourselves so we could relax without worrying about spoiling anyone else evening with our little raspberry blower , the staff couldn’t do enough for us and when we said about Britstop for campers they said they have space for 5 self contained campers in the car park free if you eat in the pub , so we will definitely be back :)

Always eat here when we are up at the lakes .great staff ,and the food is outstanding well worth the money .cannot comment on the rooms never stayed

Great pub, allowed me to stop the night in my camper van for free on the condition I buy a pint and meal. Great real ales, the food....well, home made, huge portions, loved it. The staff made me feel at home the moment I walked in the door, totally different to so many other village pubs. Customers were friendly, I would definitely come back here again, absolutely brilliant. Top marks.

Had some food here at the weekend with my partner. We had fish and chips and it was the best fish and chips we’ve ever had, amazing! ⭐️ and the waitress was so lovely as well!

Lovely food, fantastic people who let you stay the night in your van in the car park. A staple favourite of ours on our way up the coast.
