Casa Romana - Whitehaven in Copeland

Great local Italian restaurant with good atmosphere and great food. Very friendly service, generous portions and the genius to create a Calzone Kiev pizza. Which was amazing!

Absolutely fantastic meal on Monday for my husbands birthday. There was 9 of us and the food came out hot and delicious. We would recommend for anyone who is gluten free too :)

Very tasty Italian food. Quick service, also small pizzas in children options. Delicious seafood risotto and first time for me, Ragu and aubergine on pizza, and it works.

Horrible pizza, soggy and with some clearly frozen toppings, couldn't finish it. Choice of pizza was also pretty poor. Rubbery squid in risotto and calamari starter. Pretty slow service especially downstairs. When food quality was mentioned at the end they acknowledged a new chef but made no apologies for it. Go elsewhere even if it's a while away.

Was invited for a meal for our nieces belated 18th. So there was about 15-20 odd people. Pre ordered our meal. Was absolutely beautiful. I had the Pizza Ultima and it was fantastic. The mrs had pepperoni & pineapple pizza and she said it was really nice. Our daughter had a ham pizza and son had chicken nuggets and chips. They both really enjoyed it. Got our desserts and they were really good too. We had a waiter (really sorry I didnt catch the lads name) we thought he was a brilliant waiter. Always kept checking on us to see if our food was good and did we need anything else. Even asked all the kids If they wanted a lolly when we left. Would definitely go back again.

Warm and cozy Italian in the heart of Whitehaven. Book in advance as it always seems to be busy, plenty of classic dishes well cooked and setved with a smile. Loved the pizza and the tiramisu was the best I've had, all fairly priced. Highly recommended.

Really impressed. Went after a long days hike. We had two of the fish platters to start which was really nice. For main we all had the Romano base which we thought was worth it and it was! We were stuffed from this and couldn’t manage a dessert but would highly recommend. Staff very attentive as well.

Loved that their were quite a few vegan options. Food tasty too. I would’ve liked more vegan options though. I feel their options were too limited.The garlic flat bread with pesto was superb. Will go back for that if I didn’t live far away.
