Booked for afternoon tea, can’t recommend highly enough. Food was amazing. Service excellent.

A reasonably priced place that always gives you a warm welcome, great meal and great service. We have dined here several times and have not been disappointed. Would recommend

what a wonderful sunday luncheon we had!! not only the over whelming quantity but the quality ! the service was very heartwarming answer both felt really welcomed and much to my surprise, both brocolliand cauliflowers were not knackered ! I had roast beef or lamb in mind before getting there but the crackling on the menus too tempting to ignore so we both went for roast pork , however next time I would like to try beef

We nipped in here on a Saturday afternoon on the off chance of getting a table for lunch, thankfully they managed to fit us in. My husband had the Cumberland Sausage off the lunch menu and I had the Classic burger off the main menu. Both meals were lovely and a good size, with the wait time being average for a busy Saturday.We finished off by sharing a White Chocolate and raspberry tart, which again was really nice.We had 2 large glasses of wine & lemonade, 2 x pints of lager, 2 x meals and 1 x desert and it came to £54 ish. Which we thought was good value for the quality of food.

"Absolutely amazing"... the steak is the nicest ive ever tasted cooked to perfection and there was 4 , We all had them cooked different, 1 had half a roast chicken which was also faultless the service was 10/10, lovely warm atmosphere We couldn't fault anything we will definitely be back, thank you so much Helen Richard and staff ❤ xx

We ordered 3 starters each as tapas, but beware they are large portions, probably 3 between us would have done 😆

Lovely place to fall in to off the train and out of the rain for a late lunch. Really friendly and welcoming.I had white bait and then mussels, which was huge! I never fail to finish food but had to admit defeat and didn't need to eat again for the rest of the day.Well equipped loo and what looked like delicious cocktailsHighly recommend

Absolutely amazing food. I had Asian chicken thighs mrs had scotch egg. Then I had duck 🤤 Mrs had the burger and omg. This had to go up before pudding but I expect the best and I'm shore I will get it.
