Cumbrian Lodge in Copeland

Food was absolutely superb. Our party had 2 small children and the owners went above and beyond to help keep them entertained and happy . Cant wait to come again . Thank-you

I loved this hotel. The room was a modern, good size room with an en-suite shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits was provided. The restaurant was very good although not open every evening and alternatives were a short drive away. Breakfast was delicious and could be tailored to suit your needs but there wasn't a continental option. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Great hotel, would defiantly recommend. The hotel was equipped with everything we needed, the breakfast was lovely, the room was cute and comfy with lovely decoration throughout the lodge. However, the owners Angela and Paul are what really made the stay enjoyable, they went above and beyond to cater to me, my husband and our little baby.When visiting I recommend seeing Wast Water lake which is roughly half an hour away, and also driving to Keswick (seeing the Castlerigg Stone Circle amaaaazing views) and Windermere which are both over about an hour away!

Paul and Angela are truly amazing people. They are really helpful in recommending places to visit. They really give good directions. The food here is really nice. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. 5-7 min walk from the beach. What a gem. I cannot recommend a stay here enough. We had a really lovely time. Thanks to Paul and Angela's Hospitality.

Really nice rooms and the breakfast was excellent. The owners were lovely and they gave us some great recommendations for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a gorgeous place to stay. The rooms are of a very high standard & extremely clean. From start to finish the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great, would highly recommend Cumbrian Lodge to family & friends. The owners Angela & Paul couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was stress free & you couldn’t meet a nicer couple! Nothing was too much trouble for them both. First welcome from owners was so positive, atmosphere is so calm. Great food also and rooms are comfy and spot on. Because of warm welcomes we received from them, will come back if we will go that way.

The hotel itself is great and we were lucky the weather was hot and sunny as was able to make use of the stunning outside garden. We had our evening meal at the hotel which was great especially the cheesecake 😋. Staff attentive and great value hotel.

My family stayed at the Cumbrian Lodge for 3 nights. The rooms were immaculately clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. The service was great—the owners were very nice and accommodating; we felt like we were guests in their home. Also the food offered at breakfast and dinner was outstanding! (I wish that I had taken more pictures of it, but I normally dug into it before I thought about taking a picture)My family would highly recommend the Cumbrian Lodge and we would love to come back.

Amazing place really friendly and the garden is lovely with palm trees. Only had drinks but booked to go and eat in a couple of weeks. Heard people saying the food was amazing give it a go.
