Staff were great and very friendly, food and drinks came in a very reasonable time. All seafood ordered tasted incredibly fresh. There was a wide range of options to choose from and more we would love to try. Great experience

I don’t think I’ve ever complained in a restaurant and I hate to do it online, but considering none of the staff checked or asked during our lunch today how the food was I wasn’t able to.Our first waitress was great, really nice and helpful but I think her shift finished before we did.Basically we had to wait just over an hour between our starters and mains. And I know it’s Mother’s Day so it was busy, but with three kids it was a long time. At this point we still had our first waitress and she was apologetic. However once the mains eventually came out she left. And it was not clear who was now looking after our table. Not a single person came to ask how the food was, even though we’d been waiting an hour. The rest of the family’s food seemed okay. But my burger was probably the driest toughest burger I had eaten. In fact I left it. And if someone would have come and asked I would have told them. I wouldn’t have made a fuss and I wouldn’t have asked for any discount. But no one came and checked. Once we had finished we sat with our plates for about 20 mins. There must have been at least 5 different waitresses going back and forth last our table looking at our plates but doing nothing about it. I eventually asked for the bill, again at this point we still was not asked how the food was. And it cost me £110. Like I said I never complain but today I felt I needed to. To wait over an hour in between courses and to be served food that was poor at best and also not checked on at any point, is really bad in my opinion. We will definitely not be going back.

Lovely mothers day brunch, very accommodating staff. Service was a tad slow but they were very busy. Surprisingly reasonably priced also.

The food at The Estuary is stunning as always however I have noticed that the prices have gone up substantially and the food took a very long time to arrive. Was there an hour and a half before we were served. But forever a favourite!

Disappointing lunch experience. Waited a long time for our order and people near us, who had arrived and ordered after us, were served their lunch before us. When we complained, we were met with lots of attitude including eye rolling from one staff member and then the manager appeared with our food stating “that took 17 minutes which isn’t too bad really is it?…” we had actually waited closer to forty minutes and so his passive aggressive statement was inaccurate AND rude. An honest apology for the delay would have gone a long way and we could have moved on with our meal, instead he responded with a blatant lie and behaved like we were the problem. Average food, over priced menu and horrifically noisy environment. Not the relaxing lunch we hoped for. Do not recommend.

Nice place. Huge portion of pasta and lovely waitress that served us, made us feel very welcome. Cocktails are a bit too expensive for what they are at ÂŁ10/11 - had a very watery raspberry mojito but the rest of the service food & bevs were good.

I’ve eaten and had drinks here a few times. It’s always been clean, staff are decent and have a bit of charisma. Never had a bad breakfast, on the pricey side, but worth it..Ate lunch here today, ordered a burger with some sweet potato fries and onion rings. The burger was abysmal, patty definitely not made on site. Over cooked, no kind of relish, butter, sauce or cheese in the bun, just chewy bread and a burger with the consistency of a flip flop.Sweet potato fries - never had these so poorly cooked before, guess the cook was rushed.. so much so they couldn’t be bothered to add any kind of salad to the plate. My 5 year old enjoyed her lunch at least.

Nice food and good service, quiet from about 11.30am - 12.15pm weekdays, then gets rammend for lunch. Ok to work from at quiet times. Good selection of beers and wine. This is a stereotypical 'Leigh-on-Sea' venue, so if that crowd is not your thing, probably best avoid. Saying that after living here 41 years the leighite crowd is not a bit of me, but I still come here, so maybe I'm just a hypocrite.🤣🤣 Recommended!
