Good fish n chips in a gorgeous location what more can you ask for?

·

Delicious crisp fish and chips perfectly located for eating on the beach without being attacked by Seagulls.Well done.

·

Fish along with the chips looked and tasted like they've been reheated from 3 days ago. Disgusting.

·

Good quality fish & chips. Fresh fried.

We went for fish and chips on last Friday, the fish was gorgeous, we opted for the large bag of chips between us and it was also plentiful. We also tried the gravy, mushy peas and curry….. all to die for.Very very busy place, and you can phone in your orders for collection. We were queueing outside as it was so busy. It was fish Friday though 👍

On holiday staying in Haverigg. Chips really good - good portion and fish was well cooked.

So disapointed, Went last Friday for the first time in years and it was very good, been away all afternoon so we called on the way home. Fish was like rubber and soggy chips looked like they had been re-heated. enough to make a chip bun and the rest went in the bin. what a shame.

Staying at a local campsite. Some reviews made us sceptical. But this is a a great little local chippy. All very very nice.Would definitely go back.Note. Cash only !

Well went to the lakes on a visit , talking to my dad prior to leaving he told me of a fish n chip shop he visited in 1957 so off I went and have to say it was well worth a visit........I'm.still laughing how I ended up there but great thanks xxx

Very disappointed... The alluring smells and much anticipated satisfaction of well cooked fresh fish and chips was shattered by what I can honestly say was the worst chippy meal I've ever had. Very greasy, soggy and overcooked.Huge disappointment.Sorry Haverigg Fish & Chips....(Gave two stars because the staff seemed nice and helpful).
