I placed an order on the phone for collection and had wonderful fast service from a lad called Jamie on the other end of the phone, very polite and reoriented eveything back to me as well as price and time slot. Great service 😁

went in to order a takeaway, food was good and made quick, shame about the boy who served us and quite literally threw a tantrum when i declined to give my name. As i was the only one there at the time I didn't see any potential for confusion with orders, but this boy had only one gear and simply didn't know how to conduct himself when the customer still didn't want to give a name in the face of his demands. I have tried many Chinese take aways and restaurants in the UK the US. This one is probably these best I have been too. I can only complain about getting through on the phone as they have just one line and you can't get through. But the food is worth the hassle. Its clean, and always well cooked and tasty. Nothing compares, Whitehaven is very lucky to have this place.

Excellent Chinese takeaway, light and fresh, rather than stodgy and oily. Good selection for vegetarians although adding Quorn where there is chicken would get it another star. The only downside is that only take cash, not a problem with cash points near but something to remember.

Ate here twice out of 3 nights of our break away. First night we weren't sure what to expect due to conflicting reviews. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal so much we had to go the next night and we could not fault it. Staff, food and ambience were really good, and the price too. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely place. Very busy with deliveries and sit in was delicious. Attentive and polite staff, nothing was too much trouble and service quick. Surroundings were clean and modern. Unfortunately we were just visiting or it would immediately become our regular haunt! 10/10.

On arrival my wife and I were placed at a table and our drinks order taken. The waitress delivered the menu and took our order ........ and we waited, and waited in the cold as the heating was clearly not working. The takeaway element of the restaurant was very busy and we accepted the wait in good faith despite diners who arrived after us being served. After rather more than an hour, the waitress returned and it became clear that our order had not been processed ! Apologies were offered but we chose to depart - and paid for our drinks.Never again.
