Best Chinese in Whitehaven and, it’s back open again. They have switched to frozen chips though and I don’t like them 🤮 hence 3 stars.

Yummy fish and chips, best in Whitehaven in fact. Really good portions too usually eat for 2 days!

Food was okay but very expensive compared to most Chinese’s around the area. Chow mein was nice but chicken in the curry was very gristly and funny textured.

This restaurant is disgusting. No effort put into the food at all. Rice is soggy with oil. Chips are old and mushy. They add pork when you give clear instructions against and very cheap disgusting pork at that. No flavour whatsoever. You will end up sick like I did. Do yourself a favour and avoid at ALL costs.

Not impressed at all. Spring rolls were soggy & inedible, chips are clearly reheated, spare ribs were disappointing. The main point I have to make though is that EVERYTHING was coated in so much salt that it all ended up in the bin. Overpriced & very poor quality. Won’t be going back.

Absolutely disgusting the fish was rotting and got full refund. Last food hygiene report was 2006. I would love to know how they have got away with this for 11 years

The quality of the food is unconsistant. The last meal was that poor that I will not be back. The food tasted like it had been reheated from the previous night.

Great Food. A tad expensive. But you get what you pay for. This is the only Chinese in Whitehaven that has not adopted the Plastic Containers to serve food in. All the other Chinese's have and although you get slightly a bit more Food the quality of the food is not up to Par. Oriental House still uses the Tin Foiled Containers and the Food is excellent.

The internet menu with the compete dishes states that boiled rice comes with the curry as a complete meal but I got a small curry without any boiled rice I also got a fried rice and chips all for £1760 the dishes were that small it would maybe feed one person when I complained there response was they use the best meat will not be going back exspenseive for what you get.
