Was forced to rent a room for the night because of train cancellations. Got something to eat, too. Chips were gorgeous, staff were very nice, location is right in the middle of Millom and the rooms were very clean and cosy. If I were here on my own terms rather than having no other choice, I am sure I would love it.

Nice spot for a quick pint and a snack. Salt and pepper chips are very good! Menu looks ok but haven't tried it yet.

I was going to go here and eat tonight with my family. That was until I clicked the link for this business and were completely bombarded with pop-ups and dodgy links. I suggest people that you stay well away from this unscrupulous place. If they are willing to let you get shafted on the net, I can only imagine what goes on in the closed doors of the kitchen.really poor effort here guys. Sort it out.

Its an old working mens club - and it definitely still has the feel. The food is passable. Service was prompt and friendly. The interior is dated and has no aesthetical positives. I write as a visitor to the area; as a local I may have a very different view and benefit from the community spirit.
