The Gather Cafe in Copeland

Great place to get a light meals, snacks and refreshments. Good food and great service. A good place to start or finish a walk around the Ennerdale Valley.

I have eaten here twice while hiking Coast to Coast, once at breakfast and once for lunch. Food and drink always spot on. I find it a little on the pricey side but then I guess you get what you pay for. Shower really useful too for when backpacking.

Would not recommend, poor service, food expensive for what it is. Cumberland sausage was small and over cooked

Lovely place, great coffee, food, & staff. Very dog friendly .

Very good. Ask for a large coffee if you go as regular size is small. Parking is limited.

The staff were really friendly and its so nice when they welcome your dog (very important part of the family!), the cafe is really clean and the shop has some nice bits and bobs. I had a falafel and avocado sandwich with chilli jam that was delicious, pot of tea with tea leafs not bags was good, my partner had a nice jacket potato, really nice stop off after walking around Ennerdale water which is very pretty.

A wonderful cafe and shop. Delicious coffee and cookies. Great service and lovely atmosphere.

This is a top rate Community project, deserves total support, very dog friendly, the coffee and food is freshly prepared and totally yummy. Lucky for us to live locally enough to visit as and when.

Lovely cafe with very friendly staff, great selection of sandwiches and cakes and nice coffee. A cute little shop too to pick up small Lake District goodies and even some stuff for cyclists to keep their bikes running well. Thank you and keep up the good work

Lovely little place, great food, soft bread and buns! Portions are a nice size, not too big and they have a nice selection of deserts. They have a children's option and refrigerated drinks and Hartley's ice cream. Single toilet for men, women, disabled and baby changing but it is spacious and clean. Parking a challenge as there's only room for about 4 cars. Staff were polite and helpful and the service prompt! An excellent find!
