This bar is a really good spot and a lovely place. I went there last night before the Nile Rogers concert and in fact we left the Gibson to go there. Menu was appalling I’m sad to say. I’m not sure if it’s because of the concert that the menu was basic but there was only about 4 choices on the entire menu 1 st one being chicken wings and chips €15 ! The chips were skinnier then McDonald’s and the fish was awful! It put me off trying food in new places. It was mad busy enough to pay plenty of staff and there was 1 poor beautiful girl behind the bar rushed off her feet doing everything.. serving and clearing the tables by herself…. I won’t be visiting there again in a hurry. Shame because it could have great potential.

Stopped in.for food and drinks before a gig last night, waited nearly an hour to order food, 1 guy told us chef was very stressed and not to take orders , yet other staff were taken orders from other tables.. when we eventually got our food the chips were cold, and.were actually frozen skinny chips not handmade. burger bun was solid (over toasted )couldn't even bite into the bun.. had to hand back 2 of the pints we ordered as there was an awful smell and taste of them.. have another gig to.go to in 2 weeks time and was going to go here again for food and drinks but definitely won't be now...

Walked in around 10pm on a Sunday night for drinks. 2 people/customers in the place drinking. Stood at the bar waiting to be served for around 5 minutes but no one serving behind the bar and there was no note saying they would be back. Left after that. Waste of time walking there! Ps I hope the 2 fellas dressed in black sitting down drinking were not the staff! If they were, perhaps they ignored us in order to close early!

We went last night before a gig in the 3 arena. The staff seemed nice behind the bar and we ordered, paid and sat down. The place is FILTHY, The chairs were sticky and the floor looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks! The food was basically thrown at us by the waitress, she just brought one one plate of food, there was only 2 of us, slammed it in the middle of the table and walked away without saying anything. We were shocked when we figure out whose food it was, as it barely resembled the fish it was supposed to be. It was cremated!! The chips were stale. I had the chicken burger, The bread was toasted to try and cover the fact that it was hard and stale, the chicken was reheated in maybe an air fryer? It had hard bits of other greasy food stuck to the bottom of it. And again the very few chips we actually got were very old and clearly refried with a obscene amount of salt.We are because we were hungry and we were unsure if there was really any point. It was a laughably bad experience. We hired and babysitter for this!! Lol

This is is one of our favourite spots to have food and drinks before a gig. We were enjoying a drink when the male owner spoke to a young female member of staff in a manner that no one should be spoken to infront of staff and customers or at all (with drink in hand). Her friend spoke in her place as you could see she was very embarrassed and upset. The service and food were amazing, it was the owner that let himself and his establishment down and for that reason i won’t be returning.

Last night my wife went for the concert with her friends and wanted to get a bite at the Green Room Bar. After the meal they asked for 2 lattes only for the waiter to come back and tell them the bar is too busy to make them.According to my wife it looked busy enough but not packed - not every table was taken. After hearing the waiter they just shrugged it off but later relized the situation was a bit absurd.Train your staff better, telling your customers they can't have a coffee after a meal because you're too busy is a wrong thing to do.

Made a booking here recently for a pre-concert meal. On arrival, I approached a member of staff to ask about the booking; she looked me in the eye, then blanked me & walked off. A second staff member said there was no table reserved, so we should just sit anywhere. After finding a table, I asked for menus; I was told they would be dropped down, but they weren't. I then went to the bar to get menus; what was on offer was substantially less than what was advertised on the website. Left without ordering any food.

Had an awful experience here last night... myself and my sister pre booked a table at 18:00 so we could have a nice meal before the gig. We were 30 minutes waiting on our food and waiting staff told us a certain dish was not on the menu anymore,no problem we changed our order, another 30 minutes went by no sign of food coming. My sister twice had to go and look for staff to see what was going on... eventually staff came to us and said there was a mix up with our order and we would be another 15 minutes waiting on food, they did offer us complementary drinks...but I was starving and fuming.People beside us didn't even book a table and got food within 30 minutes. We would have been waiting 2hours for food and would have missed the start off the gig ,so we left.

Stopped in for a quick bite on Friday before a show and was very pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous decor (especially the beer garden), great food and super friendly staff. A hidden gem with great price. Also the goujons are clutch 👌

We visited The Green Room Bar on a Saturday for lunch. We were starving and ended up being the first people in but the staff were all very friendly and helpful even though we were a little unexpected! The place is nice and clean with lots of seating. The Green Room Bar is fairly well setup as a sports bar with lots of TVs around the place! It looks like there may be a regular crowd there as some of the chairs have peoples names on them!!!The food we had was simple but delicious. Lots of fried food which really warms the soul! The prices were also very reasonable which is always helpful in Dublin. The staff again were very good at checking on our table and sorting re-fills when needed. It started to get a little busier by the time we were leaving but still had tables available.I do not know how much this would change based on a big game day. They do take bookings ahead of 3 arena shows and have a slightly reduced menu to cater for this option.Very happy with our trip there and would definitely go back in the future for an easy, local lunch/dinner.
