The Whittington Cat in Copeland

Ordered a couple of Sunday dinners to be delivered as I wasn't well enough to cook, the order came pretty much at the time requested and as we expected needed a quick zap in the microwave but I have to say out of the ones we've had over the lockdown this was by a country mile the tastiest, I don't often clear my plate but the dog went hungry on Sunday, highly recommend

Lovely dog friendly place, very welcoming, served by a lovely young lady who poured a bowl of water out for the dogs before we had even got seated - highly recommend

Don't usually give bad reviews, but went here last night. Shocking!! Glass all over floor, my g and t was in a plastic cup, no ice, didn't dare ask for a slice. Management issue?? Only 2 staff on that I saw. Didn't have time to clean up and wash glasses as well as serve.

Went to this afternoon for lunch with my daughter and grandson and can't put into words how friendly the staff were and couldn't do enough to welcome us. Food was delicious and highly recommended. Lovely atmosphere and everyone and special kind act from a special person made our day. Thanks to the Whittington Cat x

Great food .the chicken wing's was best I've hand in long time.and the pie had half of cow init.will going back for more. Thanxs the staff for the good meal.keep it up

Got two roasts n a couple of kids meal and oh my god it was LUSH! Absolutely gorgeous food, ordered through the coastal eats app for delivery n can't believe how absolutely scrumptious it was I'm absolutely stuffed and I can't wait till I can eat the left overs it was that good!

Pleasantly surprised!! Lovely little gem. Chose The Whittington Cat whilst stopping through Whitehaven as it allowed dogs. Decided on a spot of lunch - we were blown away by the home cooked food - sticky chicken wings, chips and salad were truly delicious. Staff team were super friendly and even gave our dog some chicken for lunch 😋

Don't be fooled or put off by the appearance of the pub, it is a gem for food. Bit alarming to walk in and the Police on site! Get over that and get a table, served by a lovely waitress. Good selection of beers on tap. We both ordered a salad, but never expected it to be such a size! Huge isn't even close, and everything fresh and juicy, top drawer and fantastic value for the price. Many thanks to all staff there.

Recently been taken over, under brilliant new management, traditional town center pub, pool table, darts board, beer garden, juke box. Family friendly, dog friendly, bike friendly, vape friendly pub. Sky sports HD.
