Lovely Sunday Lunch and warm welcoming pub. :)

Food was really good and the young staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there as a party of 7 including two vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The stake and ale pie and burger were given special praise. Outside there is plenty of parking and inside it is pleasant if a little dated. But this didn't detract from the experience. No one tried the deserts as we were all too full after the main course! Overall it was very good and we won't hesitate to go back.

The staff were brilliant and the food excellent. Only complaint is a good one the portion of lovely food was huge. Highly recommended we will be back soon

Good English pub food 👍Friendly service, good menu with plenty of choice & reasonable cost. Had the surf & turf tonight which was yummy. Asked for my steak to be cooked medium which a lot of pubs don't get right but this was spot on. Had the chocolate brownie & it was delicious 😋

Myself, wife, daughter and grandson had four meals, a Christmas Lunch, two steak pies and a childs meal. All were superb, especially my Christmas Lunch. Friendly welcoming service, gorgeous food, and very competitive prices. Staff were so very attentive.It is hard to imagine a better place for a meal. Well done Wild Duck.

Just been to the Wild Duck for our evening meal. I had the fish and chips meal (well it was Friday) and the wife had the scampi both lovely.The service was first class. The meal was very, very good and the portions well totally filling 😳, thank you.Definitely will return !!!!The only downside would be the plates are not big enough for the large portions that came on them lol 👌😊

Enjoyed a mid-week trip to The Wild Duck.Service was prompt and of high standard. The food speaks for itself.Will certainly be returning.
