Always friendly atmosphere in this little village cafe. Plenty of options for lunch and their coffee is delicious. Not over priced for food or drinks.

On our first visit to Appleby, we called in this little cafe. Nothing was too much trouble, as I need gluten-free and they went out to the shop for some more bread as they had run out. They made us very welcome and the food was very good.

Just about only cafe open on Sunday morning, small cafe, we had coffee and scones. Everything was fine, reasonably priced, nice coffee. Asked for scone to be heated 10 secs in microwave, Heating a scone makes all the diff. Jam before cream ?? that was the question well I put jam on then clotted cream !! the cream was a bit firm and hard to spread on top of jam so recommmed if cream firm put it on first then the jam.

Have been here a few times over the last couple of years.A really good old fashioned English cafe.. a warm welcome reasonable prices and very good food. Giant cups of tea..I am Coeliac and need to have gluten free food ... they always manage to accommodate me.I'll be backthank you..

Really enjoyed this cafe. Stopped off on way home to Yorkshire from Scotland. Lovely hot pork sub and chips. Wife had an omlette which she really enjoyed.Great cake selection, lovely tea, and the bloke running the place was lovely too.Def recommend for a breakfast/ lunch/afternoon tea to anyone.

Great little cafe, dogs allowed, lovely cake and hot food. We had coffee and hot chocolate which was lovely. Also had bacon and egg roll, again tasty and quick. Another highlight was the cleanliness of the toilet which also smelt lovely. Staff friendly as well. Make sure you pay them a visit.
