Ashiana Exquisite Asian Cuisine in Eden

Had a takeaway and it was still really warm after a walk of about 10 minutes. It was really tasty and portion size was perfect. Second visit here and didn't disappoint.

Good food and location, excellent service

I recently visited Cumbria with five friends (so 6 of us in total). We decided to treat ourselves to a curried dinner and, being near Appleby we chose ashiana. To give some context we were hungry boys at this point, strong boys. In light of this, and despite local objections that ‘we’d never make it’ we ordered twelve (12) curries for us six (6) lads. Meaning 2 curries per person.What a treat we were in for. Immediately upon entering the curry house the respect of the staff was palpable, the twelve (12) curries handed over like a precious relic. Once home we tucked into our curry and reached a state of ecstasy at bossmans exquisite spicing. Much, much more lay ahead. As we dove deeper into curry delirium the flavours only heightened.As i looked around, I could see the deep respect for this curry, written in the eyes of my comrades. This remarkable meal barely touched the sides of bossmans deep, layered menu yet contained unique innovations, wonderful rediscoveries and crowd pleasing classics. A tour de force

You can tell that the dishes have been created and prepared by a chef who loves to produce top quality dishes. The mix of flavours was excellent in every dish we had. Also the portions are generous. Highly recommended.

First time ever having this indian since moving to Appleby. It is amazing the lamb really was cooked to perfection, the popadoms are light and crispy...really is the best indian i ever had and will be having again, regreat not eating sooner, the staff are lovely as well.

It's ok. But being from London I am used to very different types of indian food. It is never as good up north, not sure if it's to cater for the local taste of if they just do it different. Service was friendly and the food was well cooked and hot.

Food was spot on should book a table if you thinking off going we had to wait 2 hours for a table but was well worth the wait. Staff was very friendly and welcoming
