Askham Hall restaurant in Eden

Attended an all day wedding here and it was very lovely. We were well looked after and the food was brilliant. Only minor downside was lack of signposting around the buildings (we used 3) The weather was freezing while we were trying to find where to go.

Beautiful location, great food. We were delivering hand made Ceramics to the dining room.

Came here for a wedding. Very nice indeed. Great food.

If only I'd seen the ghost of the Earl. I would give this place 6 stars if that was possibleWhat a wonderful place. We stayed in the old dressing room. We even had our own secret staircase to the honestly bar.Despite it being cold outside the old hall was warm and immaculately clean.As for the meal, there is a reason it has its michelin star. The waiters were wonderful and explained how everything had been prepared and where it had been grown or sourced , most locally or from their garden What a wonderful meal.We had the matching wine. Again the wine waiter was knowledgeable and explained every detail of the wine and was able to answer all questions. We wish him well with his continued studies.Breakfast was also wonderful. Local produce and I've never seen eggs with such yellow fresh yokesThanks

Room and you were beautiful very relaxing bathtub was excellent. Food was amazing staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Could do with a better selection of draught beers

Our second stay and if I could give 6 stars, I would. We were a group of 8 and from the assistance I had with bookings all the way through to our last breakfast was exemplary. The food and wine were sublime and the service impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have just returned from a stay at this hotel and found it to be extremely relaxing. Our room was huge with an amazing bathroom and the food at all three restaurants within this group, was excellent. The staff were really helpful and the lounges with roaring fires were very welcome after long walks with the dog. We would return in a heartbeat.

Food was superb 👌 but service not so good i think because we didn't have the wine tasting we seemed to be treated a bit second class . Again excellent food but michelin one star is fair untill the service is improved it will never get a second.

We have just celebrated our daughters wedding at Askham Hall and I can honestly say we had the best weekend possible . From beginning to end everything was perfect, the wedding barn was so beautiful. The food was amazing the rooms were all so individual.perfect. Some staff in particular stood out Josh the bar man Steph in the barn Emma and Becca .. The entire staff from management to waiting staff too class .. Thank you so much Debbie Edinburgh

Incredible, cannot rate highly enough! I can't the staff highly enough, the beautiful walks, woodland and surroundings and the incredible food served in the garden cafe. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day and will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.
