Bistro 1871 in Eden

Lovely little bistro. Went for breakfast, asked if we wanted a drink as soon as we entered near enough! Lovely setting and furnished to a high standard! Had baby changing which was great! Just under £12 for full English and cup of tea! Will definitely return!

Very friendly staff. BBQ is very good and cooked to perfection. For the quality of food and service I consider it great value for money and possibly my favourite thing of all. The staff actually leave you alone while you are eating and don’t keep bothering you asking if everything is okay every 5 minutes.

Been here today for lunch and it was lovely! Great menu.The food was really well presented and delicious. It was clean/tidy and quite busy. We will certainly return. Highly recommend 👍

1st class. Decent prices. Quality well presented food. Lovely decor. The one thing that to me is a priority, the coffee was of an excellent standard & served hot...not lukewarm & with pouring cream if requested. One gets the feeling no expense is spared to deliver the best possible experience. Lastly, the staff were cheerful, friendly & helpful.

Great food and decent portions and lovely chips. A nice addition to Moira Village, nicely laid out with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.Amazing cakes and great coffee along with great service.

Great find, on a bike ride and miserable weather, decided to stop early and give this place a try. Looks lovely from the outside with the redecoration and looked far to fancy to stop in my bike attire.Straight away the staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome! Had a lovely fresh coffee and chat with staff while deciding what to have from the menu. A little more expensive than other places we have stopped at but well worth it. Food is sourced locally and cooked to perfection. If you want anything changing or additions etc just ask, they are more than happy to accommodate. They have a lunch and evening menu with live music on certain nights of the week. Give it a try!

Very stylish and comfortable. The food was very nice. There is a mix of mains, sandwiches, soup, jacket potatoes, and gorgeous cakes. There is lots of outside seating for nice weather days, and they are licensed for alcohol.

Really lovely atmosphere and looks great. Love the outdoor seating area. Would really love to see more evening opening hours as it would also make a great bar. Food we've had so far has been great. The breakfast is fantastic and great value for money. Service could just do with being a little more attentive and quicker though, although have only felt that on maybe half of the visits we have made here.

Amazing selection of cheesecake! Varied menu with wide selection of drinks. Fresh, clean surrounding with outside space, friendly staff and occasionally a band on. Best place to eat in the area!
