Lovely café with tasty soups. Good value as well. Plus electric car charger at booths is ace. Highly recommended.

Don't bother going and particularly on a Sunday. Food was clearly left overs judging by look and taste. The person who served us at the till who was a supervisor had all the charm of someone more used to herding cattle. Used to be a good cafe serving decent hot food not any more though.

Popped I for takeaway coffee, and was greeted like a friend at the counter. The shop was clean, bright and airy. Ended up with bacon rolls as well as coffee. The were excellent. Throughout being served member or staff was engaging and genuine.very good price for the breakfast deal. Will definitely go back.

Walked in thinking that the cafe served fresh prepared meals but turns out it doesn't. Only had sandwiches on offer. Rather disappointing as the food used to be great in there.

Had to call out for service after being ignored at the hot food/deli counter, a lady came over from I think fresh produce and served me after embarrassed glances from the fish counter and other team members. The various items I purchased were good though so I would recommend a visit, however service is a lottery

Took my mum yesterday as part of a day trip from Glasgow. I cannot stress how wonderful the staff were at the Penrith Store. Nothing was too much trouble and three separate members of staff actually went out of their way to make sure we were ok and had what we needed. Absolutely outstanding and left us with such a marvellous impression. We are semi-regulars at the the store in Lytham and I must say that the staff are amazing there too. A great deal may be down to training but no amount of training produces great people. Thank you to all. 10/10

The café feels uninviting / canteen like. Both the cappuccino and flat white where well below average.

Always a pleasure shopping at my local Booths store! Bright and airy and a very welcoming, well laid out and plenty of choice! Staff are pleasant and helpful and make the whole experience very pleasant rather than a chore! Well done BoothsCountry ☺️

Really good. However a notice at the entrance to the cafe to say find a vacant table so you can tell the counter staff would be good. Also notice is needed to display full menu choices. Sadly there were no Panini's left so we had to choose something else. However it was still a great enjoyable experience. Will go again.

They have a gift section that I think is a nice touch, and helpful if you are visiting and want to take gifts home, including hand packed sweets & fudge etc.They aren't cheap on price but I would definitely shop here again.
