Brantwood Country Hotel & Restaurant in Eden

Staff very nice and accommodating, we were made to feel very welcome, our room was lovely and very clean, breakfast was perfect! Great stay and will definitely return!

I cannot praise this place enough,our room was very clean and first class the wonderful clean smell as you entered the room was lovely,staff are so cheerful and helpful,food was wonderful, the Brantwood breakfast was wonderful. We stayed overnight but wished it could have been longer has it was a relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent from the offset! Management are very attentive and can't beat a great night's sleep in the comfy beds. Breakfast is faultless and plenty of options inc a packed lunch if you're on the go! Will definitely return

Amazing food for vegetarians and vegans. Amazing service and lovely to chat to. Extremely considerate of the vegetarian and vegan eaters of which the burgers they said were the best they have ever tasted!

We love the Brantwood and refer to it as our 2nd home. It's in a great location for visiting the different areas of the Lakes and Scotland. The rooms are clean, comfy and cosy. Richard and all the team are amazing and very attentive, even down to getting a TV in the bar for the football. The food is lovely, we have never had a bad meal. They have a brilliant beer garden and an excellent gin selection.

Had couple of nice meals here recently. Food great, love fact you get good portions and decent vegetables. Staff friendly too. Beer garden as well!

Called in on a walk from Pooley Bridge via Dalmain. A really friendly welcome and we had coffee, chips and a cake. We had to sit outside due to current restrictions. The chips were considerately served in red hot bowls and they stayed hot to the last chip even though it was cold and overcast. Very attentive service, a welcome snack and would definitely recommend.

We had difficulty accessing the hotel because the road was closed. A sign was very misleading because it indicated that the road was open for access for residents and businesses. This was not the case for the hotel! Our detour took us down a very narrow lane. At the hotel, we did not feel that our large car could access the hotel car park, so had to use the exit. This was allowed but we wish that we had known about it before our arrival. Initially, the hotel appeared dark and gloomy, with long dark corridors and some low ceilings. Once acclimatised, we loved it's quaint charm. The staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the food! We had a delicious evening meal in a charming dining room with a lovely ambiance. Breakfast was also first class and service excellent. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Our only criticisms would be the sticking wardrobe door, which was impossible to open quietly and the very small television. These are the only reasons that we have not awarded 5*. We would be happy to return and will recommend to our family and friends.
