Cafe sixty six in Eden

Stopped here after checking reviews which were good. Glad we did. Steak pie and fish and chips were so tasty and freshly made. They were served quickly despite the place being very busy for a Monday evening. Staff work really hard. We will definitely stop in again if we are passing.

So glad we stopped here what a little gem. Great coffee & homemade cakes. Good selection of hot food as well although we did not have any this trip. The staff were very friendly and allowed me to use my own lactose free milk in my coffee. We will be back.

Popped into this roadside cafe. The menu had plenty to choose from, much of it listing homemade food. We ordered their homemade steak pie, ham, egg and chips . Both were delicious and reasonably priced. During our lunchtime stay, the cafe rapidly filled up, a good sign. The staff were hardworking and cheerful.

Always great views and food from here.Good menu and specials board selection too.

Amazing place, stopped for a quick bite as it is well placed rather than the commercial services further onto our route.Was quickly seated, and order taken, drinks then arrived promptly.Food arrived and was piping hot and delicious. Prices were very reasonable and superb for the quality of food.Covid restrictions in place, masks asked to be worn until seated and sanitising station available on arrival.

Travelling home from holiday, we were looking for a cafe en route that was open later than 5pm. Cafe Sixty Six came up on a Google search - open until 7.30pm. So we popped in, not knowing what to expect but only really needing a leg stretch, a cuppa and a snack.It's a shame we weren't more hungry, because the food looked so good - cakes, light bites, main meals and all day breakfast. I did manage one of the huge and delicious scones and my boyfriend had tasty poached eggs and ham on toast. The place is cosy, the staff were friendly and service was quick. And the view is gorgeous. (That's the only thing we got a photo of - you'll have to pretend the roadworks aren't there!)We'll definitely make a planned stop on another trip to try out some more of the menu.

Dropped in today on way back from a trip to Lake District. Although busy we were seated quickly and our food order taken . Not too long to wait for our food to be served and it didn't dissapoint. Quality ingredients and served hot and fresh . Delicious. The customer toilets were imiculate .

Great food, very friendly and efficient service. Recommend it!

Great little Cafe, right on the side of the A66, east bound. Carpark and grass area for doggies, they allowed in under your table 👍Food really good and staff nice.
