Chapter 12 Coffee Rooms in Eden

Ordered two soups but only one came with the lady saying the other was on it way. Eventually realised nothing was on its way so checked that we had one coming. No one came back to tell us anything was ordered or not so after I had finished my soup and my friend had no indication of another one coming we just left. Terrible communication.Soup was nice though.

The food and coffee was beautiful and the service excellent - friendly and attentive.

Had the Soup of the day (Pea & Mint) and it was one of the best soups I've ever had, delicious! Menu overall very appitising and the cakes are lovely here.

Have to admit it was a large window display of fruit scones that attracted us to try the coffee and of course a fruit scone. It was a pleasant change from one of the coffee shop chains. Friendly table service, fresh scones and a generous helping of butter and jam. Other customers tucked in to a cooked breakfast with obvious pleasure.Only problem for chapter 12 is it's location in one of Penriths many lanes off the High Street - worth a search though - you won't be disappointed.

Delicious food & friendly staff. Great veggie & vegan options too. We had the soup of the day and the lemon & blueberry cake - both delicious.

Awesome breki, food was hot fresh and tasty, good quality food, so much better than city food in comparison. Friendly staff, and you must try there cakes.

Lovely coffee shop with a good cake offering. Don't be fooled by the scones in the window, they're just for show. Unfortunately by 3pm they only had one cheese scone left. The coffee and hot chocolate is really good. I recommend the tornado slice.

Wonderful service, tasty food and a lovely atmosphere.. and all at a very reasonable price!I'd definitely recommend eating here or stopping for coffee and cake ☕

Stopped here for some lunch with friends when we had time to spare in Penrith. The staff were really friendly and the inside of the cafe was comfy and cosy. I had the baked potato with cheese and coleslaw which was delicious and very filling! The cakes on display looked lovely, it was just a shame that I had no room to try one! Would definitely recommend!
