Cocklakes Farm Shop in Eden

Fabulous cafe and farm shop set within beautiful grounds with it's own lake, looking out over a stunning lake district backdrop. The food in the cafe and shop is delicious. Staff are lovely and very friendly. Few gorgeous animals outside too! Highly recommend

Great find! There is a protected lane on A66 but easy to miss. My husband has memory difficulties and this rescued the day. Nice staff, great food (almost too much) and everyone seemed happy. As fairly local, will definitely go again. Prices compare well with others around Penrith but quality of food far better at Cocklakes. Bought bacon in shop too. Beautiful lake and they're doing lots of tree planting around there which will be stunning in a few years. Definitely, better stopping here than in nearby towns.

Excellent fresh food. Good menu. Friendly staff who gave first class service.would thoroughly recommend if you are staying locally (Whitbarrow) Thankyou we now know Monday is chefs day off, but the cakes and snacks were second to none!

Great find. Well stocked shop selling a range of produce including lots of local specialities. Good cafe. We only had coffee but the food menu looked good. We are regular visitors to a neighbouring holiday resort but only discovered this at Christmas. It will now be a regular stop.

The most amazing range of meat and fresh local produce. Staff were really helpful when I got locked out my car. They let me stay inside until AA arrived, thank you very much.

Amazing food quality. Had lunch there, honey baked ham with potatoes and vegetables. Absolutely delicious. Cooked with care and love. Amazing place.

Absolutely stunning butchers. We’ve been to get meat here a few times now and the fillet steak is sensational! I have never had steak like this. So so tender and so so tasty. Really big range of all other meats too and their spicy beef kebabs, lamb and mint burgers and sausages are awesome as well.

Not visible from the road this small farm shop has an excellent butchers dept. The cafe didn't sell hot food on the day of our visit but the sandwiches, coffee and cake were good. Recommend their eggs.

This is a must stop at place! Location, trout pond, goodies to eat within the store, then you can also indulge in all the wonderful food to buy, so many locally sourced products which really are superb. Go on spoil yourself you know you should! You will not be disappointed
