Costa in Eden

Visited yesterday afternoon. The girl who took our order was very pleasant and friendly. They got our order wrong and I queried it with the guy making the coffee. He was extremely rude and patronising.

Excellent customer service very welcoming and polite staff.

Worst customer service ever...lady behind the till was lovely. I asked if they had a cup holder as it was too hot to hold. Guy replied i can give you another cup but we're not supposed too with. He had such an attitude even the lady at the till looked up. Absolutely disgusting!!! Shouldn't be working there. Make the cups better insulated so they can be held if this is the kind of response customers get when asking. This does not include the lady behind the till. She was lovely.

I also expect a WRITTEN apology, through email or text. It shouldn't be hard to figure out who I am since you lot don't hire people of colour much anyways*Hello I just wanted to share my experience working hereI worked there for three months in 2018, and the entire three months, I was made to clean the shop. Absolutely awful, if there is one thing i despise its working in an environment where i'm not being treated the same as other people. I was also the only non-white person working there at the time. So you can imagine how the only person of colour constantly cleaning looked upon that shop. You're probably wondering, "well i mean you were new, so its inevitable that you'd be trained later and not sooner, you also did weekend hours so they probably didn't have the time to train you". And yes i would gladly agree, however there was another girl who started a week, only ONE WEEK before me. And she was trained to make coffee and do the tills with no problem. Infact, she learned how to make most coffees within ONE MONTH. I left after THREE MONTHS, only learning how to make a Latte and Americano. And the ONLY reason why, is because a new manager came, who was able to discipline the shop BETTER, according to Costa regulations. SHE, was the reason why I was able to get into coffee. She came a few weeks before I left, so i'm sure if i stayed she would've taught me.For majority of the three months I was made to clean tables, take cups and plates into the kitchen and wash them ready for the staff to use. This is a job that should have been shared, NOT given to JUST ME. If you can teach the girl (who i very much liked btw, and had no issues with her), who started a week before me, then you would've been more then capable of teaching me.So my rating for WORKING in Costa Eden Centre is; 1/5And the only reason why I'm giving it a 1 is because of the manager who came and actually motivated me to do more challenging things. Otherwise i would've given it a 0/5 :)

Quiet, calming, the staff are usually quite friendly. A handy pitstop before work.

Always had best experience at costa and trying new flavours specially festive drinks and food is pleasant lovely atmosphere Good service

Costa Coffee @ Next has very gd customer service & the staff were very helpful & polite.

The staff here are always friendly. Lovely to see them back
