Edenhall Country House & Restaurant in Eden

Highly recommend this hidden gem especially if you are on holiday with dogs in this area. Very friendly staffs and lovely village location with large secured garden. Good breakfast and coffee start off the day.

Amazing stay, food was unreal, staff made the place feel like home, Rooms were affordable and felt like luxury. Whole place was well kept and a family ran hotel, if it’s your first time in the country etc it’s a great experience rather than staying in a commercial hotel or bar. Best fish and chips in Cumbria.

Beautifully quiet location in a small village a short drive to Penrith. Just called in for a drink so can't comment on the food or rooms. Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit glum. It was clean and tidy but is very dated.

Reccomemded by a friend.Wasn't dissapointed.Had Sunday lunch. Which was delishes.Sat in the bar, which is very dated in decor. But it was quite charming really. Like going back in time for a meal with my husband.Will go again for sure.

Lovely hotel set in the countryside. Peaceful and beautiful area. Spacious, clean and well presented rooms. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. We stayed 2 nights and have no complaints at all!

Stopped for a pint in the middle of a walk, lovely pub garden and was dog friendly. Good prices both for drinks and food, we will be stopping for food next time!Set in a lovely village, be sure if you're passing to pop in.

Room cold and damp. No rugs. Got cold feet. Dog friendly. Service very good. Friendly and supportive. Food excellent. Area very decent.

We had a lovely time. Staff were just lovely, the food was tasty, and the room was cosy, if in the area again would book to stay again.

We got here late on a Monday night, having already been turned away by two pubs looking for something to eat. The staff were hugely accommodating, and were able to offer us food despite the chef having started to shut down the kitchen. The portion was huge, and the food was incredibly tasty. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Excellent service from very pleasant and friendly staff. Great food, a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Altogether a very nice relaxing place. Well worth a visit!
