Without a doubt this is the best pub for a 100 square miles. Excellent barmeals and superb real ales in a cosy setting with friendly welcoming staff. It doesn't get any better!

We have visited this pub on many occasions and have always found the food and service excellent.Unfortunately on the last occasion the service was atrocious.No one came to take our order until we informed them we were still waiting.After our we had placed our order we then had a long wait for the food.The food was okay but not up to the usual standard.Hopefully this is a one off.

This place has always a good atmosphere and delicious food! From starters, to Sunday roasts and desserts! 😋 the staff are also very friendly and welcoming! My favourite pub in the area!

Super friendly staff, unbeatable service. The food portions were massive, homemade and delicious. Good value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

Set in a beautiful village, this pub offers some of the nicest food I’ve seen locally. We saw the home-made pies being brought out and all of those look incredibe, too. Everything we chose was absolutely delicious as well, though. Not only was the quality of the food of a really high standard, the portion sizes were huge which suited me perfectly! And so reasonably priced. 5 courses & 6 drinks was only £75. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you to all of the staff at The Featherstone Arms. 👌🏻

I just love this Pub. Would use it more often but live 14 miles away. Best food in the Eden Valley.

We booked a table for a Sunday whilst travelling through. The first thing we noticed was how well presented the pub is and welcoming the staff are. It made us feel welcome right away.Secondly the offering on a Sunday was the full menu which was great when you have small children so we were able to try more of the menu, a nice touch. Dog friendly.As many other reviewers have said the pies are very good but the other dishes coming out were also superb to look at!Really lovely place, well worth a visit.

You MUST book a table for their pie night on a Thursday. It was the best meal we have had in a very long time.The portions were generous, super fresh and completely delicious. Dessert was also incredible.Service was great even though they were fully booked and all rushed off their feet.I cannot recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience. Wonderful friendly reception, lovely people. Terrific atmosphere. Fresh and delicious food presented beautifully. Chicken, ham and leek pie superb, and the apple and rhubarb crumble with custard finished our meal perfectly. We aren't local but next time we are near will certainly book again.

Well, this is a surprise, this is excellent! Unusual for a menu that's so large, but the pies are STUNNING, and the burgers went down very well too! Lovely environment and really friendly folk too. Many thanks and we'll all be back before the end of the holidays!
