We as a family had most of the menu between us Pigeon through to risotto, absolutely spot on. Nicest food I’ve had for a long time. Highly recommend staff lovely

Had an evening meal at Grants very recently and all I can say is wow! The food, scallops (starter), trio of pork (main), lamb (main), cheese (dessert), chocolate fondant (dessert) were all cooked / prepared to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. What was really lovely though was, unlike some establishments, we didn't feel rushed through our meal. There was a nice gap in between courses which meant we could really enjoy our meal and social experience. Just a wonderful place which I will return to when I'm next in Penrith.

Had a lovely Friday night meal here. Our waitress Heather was really nice and the food was fantastic ( especially the scallops!) great choice of wines too and a cozy atmosphere.

We called into Grants early on Saturday evening on the off chance of a table for two.We were greeted by a lady who quickly rearranged a table that was set for evening service and seated us.We ordered drinks and perused the menu.We ordered the fillet steak and a trio of pork which were beautifully presented and tasted amazing- cooked to perfection!I would recommend booking to ensure you get a table as it was very busy, we will be back!

Just visiting Penrith for a few days staying at the George Hotel this was the first place we found and decided to just book and eat here had no real idea what to expect, the great reviews are spot on and not an exaggeration.The food here is really good. Can't fault the tuna ( which I had) and the lamb was perfectly done.If you are around eat here!

Highly accommodating and enthusiastic staff. Excellently presented food which tasted sublime. Prices I think are reasonable against what you receive in service and food quality.

Excellent service and excellent meal.Portion sizes were spot on.Steak cooked to perfectionChips were swapped for vegetables as requested with no problems and no extra cost.Wine list fairly priced with standard selection.Definitely will return and recommend.

Beautiful meal at Grant's tonight. I went for the sea bass which was amazing and served with very nice veg and the potatoes were absolutely delicious (no idea how you can make new potatoes so tasty!). Can't wait for our next visit!
