Great traditional tearoom. Excellent food at a budget price. I had a lentil and vegetable soup with a choice of sandwich for £6. Large bowl of delicious soup with a doorstop sandwich of Tuna and Mayo

Compact cafe with Lovely small walled back garden. Very sunny on day I went. Cranberry and Brie Sandwich with plenty of filling and salad. Toasted Mozzarella Tomato and Pesto Lovely.

Lovely home made soup and toasties, brilliant cakes and hot chocolate to take away, would highly recommend and very reasonably priced too.

Had an amazing takeway lunch from this lovely cafe. Chose the cauliflower and cheddar soup after much deliberation (the options were incredible)! Such good value for such amazing soup and so good to see 5+ vegetarian soup options available.My mum tried it and had to go back and get another cup! What an amazing find which such friendly and lovely staff too.

I loved this place. Just stumbled upon it while popping in to Penrith. Love quaint little independant places. Food was lovely, i had scones and coffee my son had the prawn sandwich and it was delicious. Loved the garden out back could of sat there all day. Really wanted to try the whole menu!

My friend an I visited your establishment a few years ago. Admittedly we had been Wellington shopping so was quite inebriated. We requsted the finest wines and cake but was set up, verbally, an old Colonel sort! He ask his assistant Mis Blennerhasset to call the police but we left! I managed to snaffle a small cucumber sandwich on my way out and I must say it was the best I've ever tasted!

Friendly staff and nice enough wee venue. Food was pretty average, but served quickly and reasonably priced. Worth a stop if you prefer a cosy nook.

Such a sweet find! Servers were so friendly, food lovely (stilton and broccoli soup was to die for) and nice back garden area with umbrellas for those who are covid-conscious. Lovely spot!

We turned up slightly soggy and were treated to soup and sandwiches and cream teas. A warm welcome, friendly service and great homemade food 😊
