Lakeside Inn in Eden

Nice food. Service absolutely terrible. Wife had FOUR glasses served to her which had lipstick marks on them. You have the potential to be a really good pub, sort it out Lakeside!

Too many Geordie shore quality people in bar area but dinning area was nice and had a family feel to it. The staff were polite and professional, the service was prompt and the food tasted great and was great value for money. The beer garden and outdoor play area outdoor area could do with a good tidy and returfing. Overall a good and popular pub in the area that can accommodate events too. You might want to book a table as it seemed quite busy on a friday evening which is when we visited.

Very accommodating and friendly staff and management. Food is tasty and fulfilling, pub is beautiful and two lovely log burners on when it's cold. Outdoor area for warm weather eating and drinking and places for kids to play too. Plenty of parking. An all round great pub.

Had a family gathering there this evening, great space in the conservatory and excellent food put on which everybody enjoyed, even offered to top it up so people could have seconds. Will absolutely return loved every visit!

Great pub. Brilliant atmosphere had food here several times and it was really good. Brilliant outdoor space where bands are on sometimes. Lively atmosphere and you can book a table for food

Food was nice, service was terrible. 4 of us, meals ordered together but didn't come together. I got mine last, 2 were finished theirs and the other was more than half way through. My full fat coke was a Pepsi Max. And they over charged my friend for 2 meals at their mistake, but insisted it wasn't. Management gave the difference refund in the end telling us it was out in to the till wrong.All this and there less than 10 people in the whole place.

I attended an engagement party, and the room was beautifully presented. It was warm and it had access to a private bar. The staff were attentive and service was quick and friendly.

Waited 40 mins after paying for 2 meals and still no sign of it, went to bar to ask where it was and they told me that the order had not gone through to the kitchen even though I had payed. They then give me 2 drinks as a sorry and I waited another 10 mins for my original meal. The pie of the day that my partner got was very nice as she says but my penne arrabiatta was disgusting. Cold pasta, no taste of garlic or chilli and the grilled ciabatta bread was even worse. If the chef cannot get make a simple tomato based sauce and cook the pasta so it is hot then I suggest they take it off the menu. 50 mins to be served food that I wouldn’t give to homeless person, Staff don’t even come around to ask if all is ok like a good restaurant service will do. I won’t be returning but if you want to risk it stay away from the pasta dish.

Went for Sunday dinner... absolutely amazing! Veg and meat cooked to perfection and well presented. Even though they were busy the staff were super friendly. Will be going back soon. We'll priced too... thank you Lakeside
