Lovely capuccino and lemon poppy seed cake followed by delicious Whippy style ice cream. Great taste and prices. Staff took our ice cream order after closing time much appreciated!

Our server was rude and banished us to the benches in the car park as we had a dog and "they had no dog tables" we weren't allowed to sit at the tables outside the doors on the raised patio.. and to top it off they charge an additional 50p to make a coffee decaff?! Pregnant Ladies im afraid they're gonna take advantage of you with this... I work in hospitality and understand the current climate is challenging however doesnt excuse the attitude of the staff (need to be educated on wearing a face mask, they don't do anything if staff are wearing them under their nose) and the extra charge for a different type of coffee that will no doubt be the same price bought in as the caffinated. What a joke

Super delicious coffee, I choose decaf and I really like it. They have also super yummy cakes (vegan as well) and the best ice creams which U can imagine (vegan option was there as well).

Firstly let me say the coffee and cakes were lovely, however there was a complete abcence of customer service. Abrupt and rude. I had to rase a concern re noise with a member of staff, which I did discreetly and the answer I got was "we have to work if you don't like it you can go!" I was left speechless this behavior/attitude was incredulous!I spoke to a manager who at first looked to defend the member of staff, she then came back to apologise and offered a refund. I accepted her belated apology but declined her refund. Such a shame as they have a great location and could make people's visits memorable for better reasons. We will be back to the lake but sadly not here.

Would give no stars if I could. We were refused entry as we weren't wearing face masks despite them not being mandatory anymore. The lady was rude and asked for exemption certificates which you can't get from a doctor, so I'm not sure what she was expecting to see.Wouldn't return, had a lovely ice cream across the street instead

Decided to pop in for some food after a visit to Aira Force.Food was nice enough, initial greeting by certain staff members was friendly however found the lady who seemed to be the manager quiet rude and abrupt with her responses restaurant was not busy so there was no excuse for this.Although granted we did ask about activities in the area and was helped with this it just seemed that she could be bothered with us and gave a very short snappy responses. After reading other reviews it seems that we are not the only people to feel this way.We also witnessed others being spoken to in the same manner a gentlemen had forgotten his mask and was told would not be severed her eturned with the mask and told the waitress he tried to order on the app but she interrupted him and told him its service at the window or on the app. There was also a few people that came in the wrong entrance which was an honest mistake the waitress nearly jumped down their throats and told them they needed to sanatize your hands I understand we are still in a wary time but there is a way to address this. The attidude of how things are said can offend people and thus leave negative reviews, this is my opinion and clearly as the owner has their own. However I'm giving and honest review and this not be taken with a pinch of salt as previous mentioned to another review similar to this. Don't make excuses just fix the bad atridude.

Good value and quick service from this busy cafe. A good selection of food and drinks. Plenty of tables, but this does get busy especially around lunchtime. Staff were efficient and had the food to the table quickly. The cafe is also dog friendly, so handy to grab a bite to eat here after a days walking. Toilets were very clean, but mind your head going in as you will bash it, if you a taller than a child ;)

Just stopped in for lunch. The cream tea was great with a lovely fresh scone and cream. I had the chorizo, cheddar and jalapeño toasty with cold crisp salad and slaw. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Only good things to report! The cafe has disabled access but the toilet is down a couple of steps. I didn't see a designated disabled toilet.

The menu was a little restricted and I was disappointed to find that you couldn't order many options without mayo as things are premade. The food we ate was nice, the scone was tasty with lemony hints which was unusual. Great selection of other sweet treats too. Good location for those visiting the area.
