Lowther Barn Cafe in Eden

Stopped here after a long walk round Ullswater and it is such a lovely little cafe with delicious food and an amazing host - inside and outside seating and dog friendly

Great place to stop for a coffee on the walk on the shore of Ullswater. The coffee was superb. Antonio made us feel very welcome.

What a find!!! OMG this place saved our ride. We’d set off on a challenging ride (/walk) from Patterdale on a circular loop. Got drenched in cloud on top of the ridge and came across this place. The owners were both so friendly, plus served some of the best coffee and ice creams. Couldn’t believe the quality of this place in such a beautiful and remote location - outstanding.

Plenty drink and pastry options for such a remote tea room. And outdoor seating has a great ambience. Will visit again

Lovely place to stop off on a walk from Howtown to Glenridding. Very friendly staff and delicious ice cream!

Went past whilst on a run today, tearoom at the time couldn't take card payments. However owners gave me a free bottle of water which they didn't have to do, they could clearly see I was in need of it. Definitely recommend this place.

Very welcoming and helpful people. Great scones with cream and jam with nice tea. Great views across the lake. Will stop again.

What a delightful refreshments place situated between Howtown and Patterdale along the Ulswater way. Great coffee and icecream. Very pleasant and friendly staff and owner. Well worth the stop off.

Great little find 2/3 the way along the Glenridding to Howtown walk. Not a big range of food but sandwiches and hot sausage rolls were welcome. Lovely modern conversion with outside seating as well with view of Ullswater.Pleasant staff, clean toilets.No road access to this cafe.Two guest room for rent @ £75 per night including breakfast.
