Lovely place in a nice setting, food is all freshly made and very nice all served by friendly staff, only slight downside it's quite expensive, but it's well worth a visit 👍👌

Lovely atmosphere and great hosts. Pizzas were wonderful. Highly recommended.

Lovely authentic feel Italian restaurantWe sat outside, the seating is comfortable, there is a good amount of cover from sun & a little rain. The garlic bread & pizza are tasty, they have lactose free cheese that was very helpful for a choice. The staff are friendly & attentiveIt is situated in a pleasant wee spot a few paces away from a small river over a bridge.I would definitely recommend this place and would go back if we were in the area again.

The lunch was so good we went back for pizza in the evening. Gluten free fish and chips and Lasagne and chips for lunch that were amazing, followed by gluten free sticky toffee pudding and gluten free cheesecake. The evening meal was pizzas all round and they were so good. Spoke to the chef (maybe owner) who was very friendly and helpful regarding his Gluten free menu. Easy 5 stars.

Amazing incredible place, in one of the most perfectly preserved village's in the UK. Cakes and coffee had to be the best we have had in the lakes so far.

·

Really pretty village with this little gem of a café /restaurant. Cheerful helpful staff and a good varied menu. Tried four different dishes between us and everyone was happy. Nice selection of local bottled ales. Prices just right. Well worth a visit.

What a gem well off the beaten track in a very quaint village. Very quintessentialy English village rural retreat. Great food at reasonable prices with the staff being freindly and efficient. Only a couple of miles detour off the A66 but well worth the extra few miles.
