Great Food, service and location.

Had an amazing brunch and coffee.Great location excellent service and fantastic value given the quality of the ingredients.

My partner and I visited the cafe on Saturday for brunch. There were plenty of empty tables yet from the door we were told that they're very busy as if we were not welcome.Eventually we sat down to have lunch al fresco and waited 15min to get menus and another 15min to have order taken. Few tables sat after us, yet their food arrived first (one would assume an avocado toast would take less time to prepare than burger with chips, what a surprise there). Food was nice, service quite bad. I'd give them another chance if some changes are made (staff training?)

Shocked today, our 2nd visit under new management. Last time we were there the manager took time to explain his knowledge of gluten free diet, like me his wife is severe coeliac. He assured me they would ALWAYS have gluten free burgers, buns and chips. Today the lovely girl taking orders got a very sharp NO when she asked him if there were GFchips She thenasked him if they had GFburgers, he sharply sent her to the kitchen....sadly the reply was no. We left and won't be back

Very disappointed with our first visit under new owners. Very poor table service - we repeatedly had to call staff to take drinks/food orders during our lunch (despite the place not being busy). We had booked a table for 1.00pm, yet at 2.15pm staff closed the part of the restaurant where they had seated us and began cleaning tables/stacking chairs etc and asking us if we wanted our bill (when really we would have preferred the offer of another coffee). Won't be back any time soon.

Very disappointed with the service, their was three of us, two still eating, the waitress came to our table, put a full tray of other tables finished food on our table, and started to take the one of us who had finished plates away,I found this very unprofessional and very rude,

Great selection of cakes and bakes. Delicious coffee.
