10 years ago this restaurant used to be great. I may have been 15 and naive at the time but it was nice. For the past 5 years the quality of food is awful. Adding 25 curry leaves (not exaggerating) to a curry, doesn’t make it its namesake. Bland, tasteless & unpleasant.Don’t get me wrong, the beer and service is nice but I’d give this a miss - I imagine the duck feed from the parc mart slightly edges this in the taste department

Service, great. Beer, cold. Food, awful. Literally, you couldn’t pay me to eat there again. Every curry is the same flavour. It’s the jars of curry sauce you get from a supermarket. Naans incinerated on the bottom, raw dough on top. Onion bhajis (the 20 packs you get from Morrisons) terrible. Look, a few years ago (pre-covid) they we’re legit one of the better curry houses in the country. Post-covid they’ve clearly not brought the actual chefs back but instead just employ microwave cooks who also hand out badminton rackets before the shift at the *indian-themed* restaurant. It’s not an Indian restaurant. Don’t be tricked. Don’t fall for it. Don’t upset your children. Your wife will leave you. Your husband will walk off into the woods and never come back.

Ambience is amazing as was the food. Could not fault it at all. Value for money and staff very attentive. Will definitely visit again next time.

Really enjoyed the food here, really tasty Rogan Josh, amazing peshwari naan and all other food was delicious. Our whole party left very full and satisfied. Great attentive service too.

Setting was great, staff very helpful and service was swift. Food quailty was not of good standard and does not justify prices demanded.

Eat at the Whinfell Forest Rajenda Pradesh and it’s some of the worst Indian food we’ve eaten. Our party of four all had different main dishes and they were all flavourless. They were watered down commercial versions of how curry should taste. We had some vegan options and the meat replacement pieces were soggy mush. It’s overpriced and was a really disappointing version of when we’ve eaten there in the past. Most takeaway food and supermarket curries put the food we paid for to shame. Only gave two stars as the starters were okay and the beer was cold.

No idea how some people have rated it so highly either we were unlucky or they havent had a decent indian takeaway before. Expensive ( but this doesnt affect my judgement as they probably pay a premium to be based on the centre parcs grounds).Starter onion bhaji was small and it didnt even come with the small side salad you get from any other indian takeaway in the country. The curry portions were ok but we ordered a balti and a jalfrezi and they both tasted identical. And to be honest to me they tasted like they came out of a jar ( tangy)! The balti came with sliced chillies for some random reason ( never had a balti like that before and it seems like they should have been on the traditionally spicier jalfrezi). To be fair the nan breads were delicious and cooked to perfection ( fluffy top, crispy ovened base). Which leads me to the mushroom pilau ( if you can call it that). Absolutely stodgy and very cheeky to call it mushroom. It didnt have any in it! Just to clarify I'm not even that fussy, this was that bad I had to write this. The reason I gave it the 2 stars was because it seemed fresh and was delivered piping hot and bang on time.
