Great location and food was high quality albeit on the high side price wise. Service was excellent.

Ambience a bit odd, not really a bar, just a more relaxed hotel restaurant, the name suggests muddy walkers welcome, but realistically not the place to walk in all muddy and sweaty off the hills! Food was excellent though.

Order to table was really fast!. my food sat on a piece of paper I don't get the reason was weird just gets in the way. Pet hate all condiments in sachet like a service station. The food was four out of 5 though a nice burger.

Visited on 5th July 2021. Great food. I had the flatbread with halloumi, rocket, pomegranate and raita. Very tasty.My husband had the fish and chips and said it was extremely good.Only downside, I would have liked more vegetarian options.Service was good too.

Tasty meal as replacement for pizza? Why not. I chose Chinese Shredded Beef and beer Estrella Damm. Very good choice in a very hot day. Perfect table service. Quite pleasant atmosphere and cosy interiors

Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere here. All the staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly.The tables were set well apart. The food was good too. I enjoyed the Katsu curry with rice and a few julienned veg. Finished off with three scoops of Northern block ice cream. Good company, good food and lovely setting.

Great spot in Glenridding at the back of Inn on the Lake. Good range of food for a nice lunch

Friendly, attentive staff - our server was a young French man and he was lovely! Food came out very quickly, covid guidelines were followed carefully. Everything good! Great location and nice dining area; we'll visit again. We had sandwiches and a ploughman's; the lunch menu was pretty big, lots of options.
