Sandgate friery in Eden

1. Took way too long, there was only 3 people there and it took 30 minutes to come and was freezing outside.......2. My thumb bled all the way home as the staples weren't in correctly!3. When I opened the bag, the lids on the gravy and the peas weren't on properly and had spilled out!4. Asked for a battered jumbo and got a small sausage (no batter)Very Disappointed 😞Will be going back to the Little Chippy in future (at least they let you in) 😁In response to your reply.....Haha, no I won't go go catching covid, I work in the Hospital and come into contact with a lot of illness etc... I must have a very good immune system 🤣 P.s if you can't be polite and accept criticism and your mistakes then you're in the wrong job.

Normally very good but not this time unfortunately.. Cold and raw in the middle.. Pie was so sweet for some reason.. Not happy this time sorry.

Before I start can I just say what a lovely person we had deliver our food. Unfortunately it went down hill from that. Food arrived, gravy cheese mushy peas missing of the order, contacted yourselves to be told we will get the missing orders in 10 minutes. 25 minute's later i called again to be told she shouldn't be long, I said the other food was now cold, all I got back was sorry about that, I asked to speak to the manager, who I found rude. While on the the phone to her the missing food arrived I told the manager this she said OK good, I said no its not good the meals are ruined and cold, are you not going to replace them or give me a refund she said is the delivery person still with you I said no, she said I'll phone toCome back and collect them. I said don't bother as I would have had to have bagged it all up again. Still no apology refund or replacement so I hung up and the food went into the bin.Was I being unreasonable?

Normally very good but this time fish was overcooked and full of bonesIn reply yes i have in the past left good reviews thats why we have used your chippy several times, your rudeness is uncalled for, reviews are there for the good as well as the not so good. Regards

So very disappointed today.traveled 20 miles for fish and chips. The chips were dry and they seemed like leftovers. The fish was ok what there was of it. The batter was twice cooked I’m sure. Won’t be back to this shop.

Second time we've been disappointed by here in the last few months.Normally great service but price and portion size is very out of character. Didn't bother with the fish £6.50! So just went for the £3.50 for a large chips, on collection, pick up was quick friendly service, but got home, LARGE must be a joke, not enough chips for 1 Person if I'm honest, cold and mainly burnt ends and crispy small chips (looked like the last portion before restock) probably won't be going here again, it's a shame. Like to support local, but very disappointed.

Very fast and friendly service. Our food was tasty and enjoyable and we will be returning. Really liked the smoked sausage and chips were well cooked.

Found out I was gluten free recently and everything tastes card boards. Your gluten free fish and chips are amazing so delicious absolutely superb cannot wait to come for more!!!!

We had steak and Ale pie ,Cumberland sausage ,chips and peas,curry sauce and the best onion rings. It was the best we have had anywhere. Fully recommended 👌
