Amazing food, well worth a visit .

Absolutely excellent beer garden, great in summer and great covered area for colder days.Had a meal for the first time ever and it was excellent.

This was doing a roaring trade on a wet Sunday afternoon. It is a Camra pub and thus an excellent real ale destination. Very friendly. Oddly nobody sat outside during storm Eunice. My pint of Citra was excellent.

It's the first time we have been there and it didn't disappoint service was very quick lovely choice of menu food was excellent and piping hot staff were very helpful and friendly even though they were rushed off there feet it was super busy so a good sign of a great restaurant sorry forgot to take pictures of food

Lovely traditional pub near the train station. We went in for a meal and were not disappointed. The Steak pie was delicious and my husband and daughter had roast beef dinner which they said was lovely too. They have a nice range of real ales too if that's your thing. The staff were friendly and helpful and they made sure the tables were cleaned between customers.

Stopped on the way home from The Lake District. Great friendly pub with excellent staff and good service. Food is fantastic with good size portions. They fitted us in although we had not booked. Highly recommend this popular friendly pub for food and drink.

Lovely welcome, clean rooms, with everything you need for a pleasant stay, including WiFi, fan, fridge.Staff most helpful & very hard working. Definitely recommend the steak & Ale pie or delicious rack of ribs, & lamb shank melts in your mouth. Breakfast lovely with Cumberland sausage yum yum to food. I would definitely recommend 10 out of 10Thank you to Wendy hubby & all staff.Julie xxx
