The slow cooker blade of beef was hands down one of the tastiest meals I've ever had. The beef melted in my mouth. The staff were super friendly and sorted me out a table at the last minute. The cost was also very reasonable. Highly recommend. The children's menu options are also very good and my kid devoured the mac and cheese!

Well presented large meals. A rounded menu for carnivores and vegetarians (pescatarians) alike. Don't expect a large choice though. A little baffled that they served the wine in gin glasses. Service not the best. I will assume that the waitress was new as she was fluttering around too much. I would go again just to try something different on the menu. Also found it strange that there were no drinks menus.

We’ve been to the Devonshire for Sunday lunch today with friends. From walking in the welcome was very warm from staff members. A really good vibe, very busy, tables all full. The food was stunning, second to none, plentiful, 1st class quality, none of us could fault it. I doubt you would find a better Sunday lunch anywhere…hence why it’s hard to get a table.10/10.

we arrived 1:30pm on thursday after walking around the Langwith and Scarcliffe. The restaurant was full, luckly people were just leaving. i recommend to book tables in advance to avoid disappointment. the croquettes, fish and chips, garlic chicken fillet were tasty. plenty of meat in The Devonshire ploughman's board. there is no free wifi in The Devonshire.

The signature burger and lamb shank shepherd's pie was amazing, especially the lamb. We ordered a side of onion rings that came out burnt but they took them back and didn't charge us for them. Unfortunately had no room for dessert but we'll be back 😜😋

The food is great, we had the garlic bread with molten cheddar starter. The bread had a great crust yet the inside was light, and as for the cheese, just look at my reviews attached photo. For a main we had the lamb, the red wine and mint gravy was luscious. I had the the lamb done medium and it was cooked amazingly, juicy yet tender. The other Member of my party preferred their lamb well-done and they were just as satisfied as me with the lamb.

This was our first visit to The Devonshire. It was great. The staff were friendly and efficient and tended to our needs without being overbearing. The environment was upmarket yet comfortable and inviting. The food was amazing. Everything tasted so good. Portions were large but not over priced. I had a pie and it was packed with meat, not half empty like in some places. Definitely will be going back to try more of the menu.

We was staying 20 minutes away and this place kept popping up on recommendation sites. Boy did it live up to the reviews! Amazing service and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic, honestly one of the best dinners we have enjoyed. Pricing was very good for the quality and portions you got. When we are up that way again we will 100% visit again! Must visit!
