The George Hotel Bar & Restaurant in Eden

My stay was limited to one night for business but I was very impressed by the locatio, quality of the facilities, the food and the very friendly and professional staff. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the coming months.

My wife and I wanted a night away on our own, and the George fit the bill perfectly. Great decor, excellent service, and good food. Really comfortable and beautifully furnished room, and lots of cosy places in the public areas to chill with a glass of wine and a good book. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

From the moment we entered to the moment we departed, the staff could not have been more considerate, efficient and polite. On entering a bustling bar area, we were immediately approached by a member of staff who offered a range of seating, produced menus for (substantial) bar snacks and a full lunch, and put my iPad on charge. We were then escorted to the restaurant where we ordered our meal and drinks from a well-balanced and comprehensive range. The food arrived quickly and was excellent.All in all, a short-notice visit which was delightful.

Just popped in while passing. Had a small bite for lunch 😋 Great food and the most wonderful staff. Now added to my places to eat, highly recommended.

My first visit to have a lunch catch up with friends... the bar was nicely decorated, staff were all friendly efficient and helpful creating a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious well presented and filling... fairly pricey but for a treat I would definitely recommend!

Went back to have lunch with friend, first time since the 1st Lockdown. OMG the venue looks absolutely gorgeous. Amazing food and service too. Feel of luxury all round. Look forward to our next visit and booking our Christmas party The George 💕

Visited on Friday around 6pm. Welcomed by very nice Restaurant Receptionist at the door.Even due to high reservations they found a table for single me. Lady took my coat and straight I could order myself a drink. I am a fan of Whiskey Sour, I’ve noticed Pisco Sour in menu and gave it a go, which was an excellent choice.I wasn’t extra hungry I have ordered 2 recommended starters. Scallops and Buffalo Mozzarella. Presentation fantastic, flavours even better. Not often I feel like closing my eyes and focus on flavour.. this time I did!Even though I was dressed casual after work I haven’t been treated any differently than other customers!Staff very friendly and prepared! service I received was on level of Gauchos or Novikov 👏🏽Prices adequate to Menu and Service!Atmosphere is very relaxing and I’ll definitely come back when I’m in area again.

Decided to book our Christmas work do, after recommendation from a friend, certainly didn’t regret it. The restaurant is stunning and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fabulous. Already planning our next visit.

My husband and I went for dinner for his birthday and we were both super impressed. The meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were even given a little birthday treat with our desserts which was a lovely added touch. We will definitely be returning.
