Really lovely staff, so friendly and polite. Lovely menu with the option for smaller sizes. Ordered the fish, chips and peas and couldn't fault it. Quick service and lovely atmosphere. Will be back again!

Went to try something special in this restaurant and did not expect the Capocollo are that delicious. The staff here are quite friendly and they told me that their chef are an Italian. Will definitely go to try other cuisine if i get another chance

Never been before and we only live 2 miles away. Golden fleece will become are new go to restaurant. The food was amazing. The staff really friendly and a very short wait for the food and it was really busy for a wet Wednesday at 12.30

Absolutely cracking! A warm welcome for me, my husband and our little dog. There were a good number of menu choices to suit all tastes. My roast beef was a very generous portion with crispy roasties, a homemade Yorkshire and mounds of veg. The kitchen were very accommodating of a few substitutions due to dietary requirements. Service was also very quick considering we visited on a busy bank holiday. Would definitely eat here again.

Warm welcome to start.. service quick + efficient. The food was top class but the starter was far too big - the pate was like a main meal luckily I ordered he small steak pie .. you can have choice of a small or large meal - brilliant idea. Couldnt find room for dessert. 12/10.. brilliant. Friendly helpful staff.

Customers sat around with phones in hand while staff just sit there at the bar chatting away customers having to get there own menus. 1 course in an hour and half. Definitely won't be back wich is shame been going years. Another pub that's got comfortable with it's customer base and standards have definitely slipped.

Nice place, well decorated, plenty of parking and a large outdoor area. I messaged them to find out if it would be suitable for us. I explained what I wanted to do and when did they recommend. I was assured Saturday lunch would be best as a bit quieter. I booked as I was taking the dog and he had never been to a pub before. I was also taking my mum for the first time since she has a stroke. I have passed this place several times on my way to the farm shop and thought it looked nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I seated mum and then went back for Max. They have Water bowls available in the pub. We ordered the small fish and chips. It was really good and even though it was a small one it was plenty. Everything was piping hot. You really should book as it gets very busy even on a weekday lunchtime. Will definitely go again.

You can't get a much better view than this while drinking a pint and eating a meal. Had really nice king prawn pasta with garlic and would choose that again. Staff were polite and friendly. With a cricket ground next door I'm sure I will be back to watch an over or two soon
